Host were nice. Place was centrally located. It's hard to compare to since it's my first stay in Marrakesh, but if your looking for modern this is not it.

The owners of the Riad were nice, so I am sad to have to write a negative review. The good things were the friendly owners and that they arranged an affordable taxi for me to the airport, which was very appreciated. The negatives were: The room was not clean. We could see the dirt on the rugs in our room. The walls had stains on them and really needed new paint. Our shower didn't drain and overflowed, and never got fixed even though we asked. The shower curtain was old and flimsy and was missing curtain rings. There was black scum on the bathroom walls. The plants in the photos were lovely but in real life the plants were all dead. So, just pots full of dead plants. There was duct tape holding the window above our bedroom wall together. The biggest negative was that the Riad owners were rarely available to answer the door. Being alone in an alleyway near the Medina is not a good idea for a tourist, and it was scary having to wait up to 15 minutes waiting for someone to answer the door at the Riad. There were several times I had to let other guests in myself because no one was letting them in. I paid a similar price for a different Riad in Marrakech and had none of these issues, so it was really disappointing to not receive the same quality at this Riad.

We only stayed one night as we had to catch a flight early in the morning. The location is nice, right down town and close to the taxis. The room and bathroom are a bit small and there was an issue with the water draining in the shower.

Our stay at the riad was lovely. The hosts made us feel at home in Marrakech and the riad itself was beautiful and nicely cool. The location was central and it was quite silent at night for such a central location.

The guys from the riad were very kind and helpful. The breakfast is typical Moroccans. The road is very close to the main square.
