Our apartment is the perfect place for a short stay in Nairobi. Located just 2 km from the city centre and a 10-15 minute walk from the heart of Westlands business and shopping district, it provides a peaceful and secure retreat for travelers.
Your private suite includes a queen sized bed, closets, small desk, and full bathroom - all overlooking beautiful Nairobi greenery and the backyard pool. Within the ultra-modern apartment, you would share a fully-stocked kitchen, dining room, living room, open terrace, and access to a washing machine/dryer. The apartment has wi-fi, a backyard, and pool that you can use if you're so inclined. We're a bit tucked in from the road, so it's also a really great respite from the hustle/bustle of the city.
For each night of stay during the weekdays, your room and bathroom would be serviced by a maid who is also an excellent cook. Breakfast is included in the price; other meals can be prepared for a small fee.
The apartment complex contains very few units and is therefore very quiet. 24-hour security guards and electric fence provides additional comfort. Should you have a car, there is also parking available in the complex.
We are happy to share our recommendations for restaurants, attractions, and other services to make the most of your stay in Nairobi. Also, we can provide you with trusted taxi drivers that can meet you at the airport and bring you to our apartment directly if that is helpful to you.
We look forward to hosting you - welcome to Kenya!
Checkout is at 1pm, but for those who have night flights or connections, we are happy to hold your luggage securely until your departure. Otherwise, we hope you'll respect that this is our home and treat it with the care you would your own!
Last minute my original plans for accommodation didn't work out and I was therefore super happy that Karibu and Tiffany responded so quickly (within hours). This meant I could board my plane knowing I had a place to stay on arrival in Nairobi :-)
On arrival, despite late in the evening, I was received in a very positive and friendly manner. I felt at home at once.
The accommodation is really nice, spacious and clean. I must add that the bed was out of this world. I slept like a king, fabulous for the tired traveller :-)
I know where to stay next time I am back in Nairobi. Thanks Karibu and Tiffany, take care and see you soon. With best regards. Mads
My name is Karibu and I am the head of a start-up firm here in Nairobi. My wife leads an education development non-profit. We are originally from California, spent time living and studying in Boston, and now call Nairobi home.
We are pretty laid back and adventurous when it comes to travel. We love experiencing life in other cultures and have spent time within Central and South America, as well as throughout various countries in Europe and Asia. We enjoy meeting new people and have hosted more than a dozen friends who have come to visit Kenya since we began living here three years ago. If you decide to travel to Kenya/East Africa, we're happy to give you tips and recommendations to make your trip memorable!
