Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
This lovely cabin in Jackson Hole, WY, sits on the 8th fairway of the Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis Club, adjacent to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Look out the floor-to-ceiling front windows at the Grand Tetons, and you may just glimpse a buffalo or elk grazing on the front lawn. Enjoy the huge rock fireplace, granite kitchen counters, wood plank floors, jacuzzi bathtub, marble tiled bathrooms with in-floor radiant heat, and wrap redwood decks any time of the year.

The space
The cabin's great room is an open floor plan including a living room, dining area, and kitchen. It features floor-to-ceiling windows, a huge rock fireplace (firewood is provided free of charge), vaulted beam ceiling, wood plank floors, a 60' flat screen TV, elk antler chandelier, and a high-end, well-stocked kitchen with marble counters and barstools. There are two bedroom suites, including a master suite with a king bed, flat screen TV, and bathroom with double vanity, jetted tub and glassed-in shower, and a guest suite with a queen bed and second full bath with shower. The couch in the great room also folds out to a queen bed for extra sleeping space, and there is an inflatable mattress available. Other amenities include a powder room, laundry room, and attached garage, along with stored high chair and pack-and-play for families with children. The entire home is decorated in a tasteful western motif, and stays cool in the summer and toasty warm in the winter (think flannel sheets and down comforters) due to overhanging eaves and excellent insulation. Redwood decks encircle three sides of the home, complete with a gas grill, ensuring plenty of extra space for enjoying the great outdoors. The cabin is beautifully landscaped with aspens, pines, cottonwoods and hanging flower baskets in the summer, and piles of legendary powder snow in the winter.

Where you’ll be

Jackson, Wyoming, United States

Jackson Hole is a world-famous valley that is approximately 40 miles long and 15 miles wide, home to Grand Teton National Park and the National Elk Refuge and adjacent to Yellowstone National Park and several national forests. It is bordered on the west by the magnificent Teton skyline, one of the most familiar images of the American West, and on the east by the Gros Ventre range. Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club lies three miles south of the Jackson Hole Airport and eight miles north of the Town of Jackson, and features an 18-hole golf course, restaurant and bar which are open to the public. The region abounds with activities and amenities every season of the year. In the summer and fall you can take a scenic or whitewater raft trip down the Snake River, hike through fields of wildflowers, fly fish for rainbow and cutthroat trout, mountain or road bike on hundreds of miles of pathways and trails, canoe, kayak, sail, paddleboard, hang-glide, swim, golf, play tennis, tackle ropes courses and adventure parks, and the list goes on. In the winter and spring enjoy some of the world's best downhill skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village, Snow King Resort in town, and Grand Targhee Resort above Driggs, Idaho. You can also cross-country ski, snowmobile, take a sleigh onto the National Elk Refuge to help feed 8,000 elk, or relax at a spa or hot spring. All year long you can visit great museums including the National Museum of Wildlife Art, explore our wealth of art galleries, dine at wonderful restaurants, and attend cultural events such as plays, concerts, dance performances, festivals and fairs.

Howdy! I grew up in Detroit, Michigan, Leicester, England and Lausanne, Switzerland. I then studied journalism at the University of Michigan before moving to Jackson Hole, WY, where I worked as a reporter at our local newspaper and backcountry ranger in Grand Teton National Park. Afterwards I spent 25 years in Washington DC before returning to Jackson Hole where I met my husband. I like to hike, travel and host visitors in my wonderful cabin!
