The space
"The Farmhouse" is a self-contained accommodation attached to our house which is an old renovated farmhouse: the real "Airbnb concept" since we invite you to an independent part of our home! It is a peaceful, unique, comfortable, clean place, surrounded by a beautiful garden and offering everything you need for a pleasant stay! It is also listed on the Aubel Tourist Office website and recognized as a rural lodge by the General Tourism Commission of Wallonia...

The entire accommodation is at your disposal, and it includes: a double bed with quality bedding (1.60 m), a double sofa bed (1.35 m), a Smart TV (with Amazon Prime subscription), a small dressing room, a table/desk, a small kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace with outdoor table and a private garden with deckchairs, outdoor armchairs and hammock (except in winter). Two parking spaces are reserved for you, and the pétanque court is in the garden of our house but we are happy to share it! The JACUZZI (unavailable during winter frosts) is extra and by reservation only: ask the hosts before booking if you want to know the availability, price, or suggestion of another more complete wellness activity in the area.
Other things to note
* The accommodation is small (micro-house) and therefore ideal for 2 people, but can accommodate up to 4 people (the sofa bed can be prepared next to the bed on request).
* If you would like to quickly obtain more information and request a discount, you can also contact us via our contact information listed on our logo (see photo) or via the Aubel Tourist Office website (Leisure – Tourism – Accommodation).
* If you are interested in an "early check-in" (before 3pm) or a "late check-out" (after 11am), please request it when booking, and we will respond favorably if the cleaning organization allows it, at no extra cost :)
* If you would like to book the "JACUZZI" experience (except during winter freezes) please book it at least 48 hours before arrival, so we can prepare it. As explained in the listing, this experience requires a surcharge (to be paid upon arrival), because to offer you the best hygiene conditions we empty, clean, change the filter + products and heat the new water between each booking. We also prepare large beach towels + 1 bottle of Aubel Cider in a champagne bucket with glasses. Feel free to ask us for the price of privatizing the hot tub for one or more days.
* We offer you a small welcome gift as well as water, tea and coffee during your stay.
* The TV is a "Smart TV", so it allows you to browse the internet like a computer. We don't have TV channels, but an Amazon Prime subscription that will give you access to thousands of movies & series.
* We offer a lot of tourist information: maps, walks and bike rides, Val-Dieu Abbey, the famous Sunday market in Aubel, restaurants, visits to Clermont, Maastricht, Aachen, Liège, Spa Francorchamps...
* The kitchen is equipped with an oven, 3 electric hotplates, a microwave, a sink, a fridge with small freezer, a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, a kettle, a toaster and also everything you need for cooking: cutlery, plates, glasses, cups, pots/pans, oven dishes, salt, pepper, sugar, dishwashing liquid, ...
* Cooking and eating outside is also possible: you will find an outdoor table, and a small BBQ (we do not provide charcoal). You can also ask us to borrow our electric plancha to grill your food outside.
* Your outdoor space also includes lighting, a water supply and 2 electrical outlets: convenient for charging your electric bike (which can be attached to the ledge with an anti-theft device that we provide).
* We provide you with towels, bed linens, toilet paper, soap, shampoo and conditioner. If the owners are present and you ask in advance, they can do your laundry in their washer and dryer (with a small fee).
* Air conditioning is not provided, as it is well insulated and has thick exterior walls, the Farmhouse remains cool in case of high heat.
* Smoking inside and bringing pets are not allowed.
