Our house, located between Aubel and the famous Val-Dieu Abbey, is ideal for travelers who love nature, calm and simplicity! Enjoy walks, petanque court, countryside and perfect location between Liège, Maastricht & Aachen!
The space
"The Farmhouse" is a self-contained accommodation attached to our house which is an old renovated farmhouse: the real "Airbnb concept" since we invite you to an independent part of our home! It is a peaceful, unique, comfortable, clean place, surrounded by a beautiful garden and offering everything you need for a pleasant stay! It is also listed on the Aubel Tourist Office website and recognized as a rural lodge by the General Tourism Commission of Wallonia...

An entire home is available to you, but some places on the property are reserved for our family since we live there, with places we share:)
The accommodation, reserved for you, includes: a double bed with quality bedding (160 x 200), a double sofa bed (140 x 188), a Smart TV (with Amazon Prime subscription), a small dressing room, a table / desk, a small kitchen, a bathroom, a private terrace with outdoor table and chairs and a private garden.
The bocce court and wooden deck with sunbeds and outdoor chairs are in the garden of our house, but we share this beautiful place with pleasure!
The private hot tub is extra and by reservation only (unavailable during winter frosts): ask the hosts before booking if you want to know the availability, the rate, or the suggestion of another more complete activity in the area. N.B. it can be booked for a wellness experience (hot bubble bath) and also to cool off in summer (water point like a small pool): it's up to you, and we will prepare it with the desired temperature:)
Two parking spots are also reserved for you.
Other things to note
* The accommodation is small (tiny house) and therefore ideal for 2 people, but can accommodate up to 4 people (the sofa bed can be prepared next to the bed on request). For your convenience, we accept a maximum of 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.
* If you would like to get more information quickly or make us a special request (surprise, discount,...), you can also contact us via our contact provided on our logo (see photo) or via the Aubel Tourist Office website (Leisure - Tourism - Stay in).
* If you are interested in an “early check-in” (before 3pm) or a “late check-out” (after 11am), ask for it when you book, and we will respond positively if the cleaning organization allows it, at no additional cost:)
* The HOT TUB can be booked for a wellness experience (hot bubble bath) and also to cool off in summer (water point like a small pool): it's up to you, and we will prepare it with the temperature you want:) If you want to book this experience (except during winter frosts), please book it at least 48 hours before your arrival, so we can prepare it. As explained in the listing, this option requires an additional charge (to be paid upon arrival), because to offer you the best hygiene conditions we empty it, clean it, change the filter + products and heat the new water between each reservation. We also prepare bathrobes + 1 bottle of Aubel Cider in a champagne bucket with cups. Do not hesitate to ask us the price of the privatization of the hot tub for one or more days.
* We offer you a small welcome gift as well as water, tea and coffee during your stay.
* The TV is a "Smart TV", so it allows you to browse the internet like on a computer. We have 2 subscriptions for you to 2 subscriptions: Telesat, and Amazon Prime Video which will give you access to thousands of movies & series.
* We offer a lot of tourist information: maps, walks and bike rides, Val-Dieu Abbey, the famous Aubel Sunday market, restaurants, visits to Clermont, Maastricht, Aachen, Liège, Spa Francorchamps, ...
* The bathroom (recently renovated), will provide you with what you need to wash, toilet paper, as well as a washing machine.
* The kitchen is equipped with an oven, 3 electric taques, sink, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with small freezer, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, kettle, and also everything you need to cook: cutlery, plates, glasses, cups, pots / pans, oven dishes, salt, pepper, sugar, dish soap, ...
* Cooking and eating outside is also possible: you will find an outdoor table, and a small BBQ (we do not provide the charcoal). You can also ask us to borrow our electric plancha to grill your food outside.
* Your outdoor space also includes lighting, a retractable clothes drying rack, a water supply and 2 electrical outlets: convenient for charging your electric bike (which can be attached to the ledge with a lock that we provide).
* The Farmhouse stays nice and cool in hot weather because it is shaded, well insulated, and has thick exterior walls: therefore, there is no air conditioning, but a fan is available if needed.
* Because everyone's health and comfort is a priority for us, we have installed a high-quality, quiet De'Longhi appliance that automatically ensures a perfect humidity level, reduces the drying time of laundry, and purifies the air (dust filter, allergen filter, and activated carbon filter to help eliminate odors). This ensures maximum comfort even if the bed is close to the kitchen and bathroom, and a healthy home to contribute to your good health :)
* We can lend you free of charge and upon request equipment for babies / children (folding baby bed, baby chair, baby bathtub, games, ...)
* Smoking indoors and bringing animals are not allowed.
