This comfortable 1930s home is close to the heart of Sequim in a professional neighborhood. Located a half-mile from downtown as well as directly adjacent to the Discovery Trail and local YMCA, you will find this rental to be an ideal location to base your exploration of the Dungeness Valley.

The space
Sleeping accommodations include the main bedroom with a queen size bed, a cozy second bedroom with a full bed, a family room with a queen size fold-out futon and a loft complete with two twin beds, a twin air-bed and plenty of floor space for the provided air-mattresses for the kids. The single bathroom has a tub shower and is complete with towels, soap and shampoo. The efficient kitchen is complete with pots, pans, utensils and place settings for up to six people to enjoy a meal in the adjoining dining area. A washer and dryer, located by the backdoor, are included for your convenience, as well as an iron and ironing board. A desk is provided in the living room to accommodate business travelers.

There is a paved, well-lit private parking area behind the house. To the side, a fenced area provides some privacy from 5th avenue and is a great place to relax on a warm day for lunch on the picnic table.

I should note that while the house has beds for 8 people, it is not a huge house and has only one bathroom, so while it would work well for a group with kids, or for a short stopover, it might not be ideal for a large group for a long visit.

We welcome your canine companions, and are confident that they will enjoy walks on the adjacent Discovery Trail. Railroad Park Bridge is a comfortable walk to the west, and Carrie Blake's dog park is within walking distance to the east on the trail. We do ask that you clean up after your pet and discourage pets from being on the furniture. The fully fenced side yard should provide comfortable accommodations for most dogs for short periods of being left unattended. A small dog-house and blankets are also provided.

Guest access
Guests will have the entire home to themselves for the length of their stay. Please note, in an effort to keep my base price low for two guests, I do have a $25 per person fee for three or more guests.

Location

Sequim, Washington, United States

This home is located in a professional part of Sequim that is predominantly occupied by medical, finance, real estate and law offices. While 5th Avenue can be busy during weekdays because of these businesses, it slows down substantially in the evenings and weekends. It is also a secure neighborhood, with low crime close to police, fire, and emergency medical services.

During your stay
I live less than a mile from the home, so I am usually available should a problem with the residence be encountered.
There is a garage on the property somewhat close to the house that I do need to access occasionally, but I do so only at reasonable hours and attempt to cause minimal disturbance.
