The house has two bathrooms, two bedrooms, one with two beds the other with three beds.
The house is completly eqiuped.
It has a a large terrace 30meter squer with a beautiful seaview.
The house is 50meter distant from the sea.
The area is very peaceful and ideal for relax.
Just 500 m there are reatsaurants and cafes and a small shop.
In the summer time the trafic is notr alowed in Perast. There are buses going every 30min to Kotor and Risan, the bus station is 500m distant from the house.
Perast is one of the most beautiful places in Bay of Kotor.
Perast is an old town on the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro. It is situated a few kilometres northwest of Kotor and is noted for its proximity to the islets of St. George and Our Lady of the Rocks.
Near Perast there are two islets: one is called Sveti Đorđe (St. George) and the other Gospa od Škrpjela (Our Lady of the Rocks), and each has a picturesque chapel. Gospa od Škrpjela is particularly interesting given that it is the only artificially-built island in the Adriatic, with an area of 3,030 m² — it was built upon a rock (Škrpjel) after two Venetian sailors from Perast found a picture of the Virgin Mary on it in 1452.
Our host Ana was very pleasant as was her (email hidden)ry accommodating and very helpful with advice and local knowledge. The setting was beautiful and perfect for a mixture of small town and within walking distance of Kotor.
The listing looks exactly as it does in the pictures and the apartment was clean and modern. The location is good, about a 25 minute walk into kotor old town with restaurants and bars along the bay. Dobrota has a nice community feel and everyone was friendly. The biggest selling point is the private jetty, it was amazing and perfect to sit out on everyday and in the evening, the views are stunning. Prior to booking communication with Ana was quick and efficient and during our stay her father was very helpful and interesting to talk to also. I would recommend the apartment.
Ana responded to my queries promptly. The apartment was exactly as pictured, if not prettier. Ana and her family were helpful and friendly and helped make the stay in the area a pleasure. There was a supermarket with ATM, post office and pharmacy within easy walking distance. We were able to walk to the old town from the apartment without any difficulties. The view from the apartment and little jetty is breathtaking. I got some amazing photos of the mountains being reflected in the water early in the morning. You can watch cruise shops sailing past in front of you. Only downside was that each afternoon for about 3 hours a bar played loud techno/boom boom music. We found it very intrusive, but you can overcome the noise by visiting the old town during this time or similar. (Or if you like loud techno, you'll be in heaven).
Sehr netter Vermieter.
I fully agree with Mr. Bush. We have taken steps to apply rubber plugs to chairs on top of terrace. The presence of door was a rare case felt in number of houses around, due low tide and strong winds, that happens once i a year. We are glad that Mr. Bush has overall a good days with us. Ana
The Rosa apartment in Dobrota is lovely. A great location - only a 10/15 minute drive from Tivat airport and only a 10/15 minute walk into the main town of Kotor. The views of Kotor Bay from the private jetty are stunning.
We stayed in early June and were met by Ana's father when we arrived and he showed us around the apartment. As they only live next door it was great to have them on hand to ask any questions / get any local recommendations.
There is a lovely restaurant just down the road from the apartment, Ellas, which served great food (so good we went there twice!) and then a little further the other way you have the Forza Mare Hotel and Restaurant. We had dinner here on our last night - a great evening and perfect way to end the holiday.
Ana is a great , we had refrigerator failure during our stay and she had replacement with in few hours. A great apartment and location, but in need of a little maintenance and tender care. We had kitchen sink drain problem when we arrived, a dish washer that didn't work, and only half the toaster heaters worked. We enjoyed our stay, but it would have been fabulous if everything worked. Beware zero supplies are provided, no soaps hand or dish washing, toilet paper, salt or peppers. I expected to have supplies for the first night at least..
Rosa's location is perfect. Close to Kotor city center, shops and restaurants, safe and quiet, with stunning views. The villa, the garden and the facilities are so beautiful and cosy. Ana is a supergirl and his father is amazing: so warm and prompt. I only have two recommendations: a new bad and a new shower would make Rosa 100% perfect . However, I had a wonderful staying and I will surely go back to Rosa for a future vacation. Thank you, Ana and Vieko.
We spend an amazing week in Kotor, staying at the Terrace Apartment, provided by Ana and her family. The apartment was spacious and clean, with two bedrooms, large bathroom and a relaxing lounge and kitchen area. The terrace over looking the bay was a perfect spot for breakfast each morning and we spent almost every afternoon on the pier taking in the sunshine.
It's a 10-15 min stroll into the old town and there is an abundance of restaurants and bars along the way. The supermarket is also really close, plus a little corner shop three doors from the apartment was great for cold drinks and ice creams.
Ana's father The Captain was an amazing host, always keen for a quite drink and a chat on the pier after dinner and happy to assist with organising day trips and car hire. We spent one morning with Marco, a fabulous host and one of the nicest people you'll meet in Montenegro, i highly recommend exploring the bay in his little boat... it was a morning we'll never forget!
Special thanks to Ana, the Captain and Maria - we had a wonderful relaxing week while getting to explore Montenegro, we will definitely be back :)
My family and I recently spent 11 days at the Terrace apartment and absolutely loved it. We were greeted by Vyecko, Ana's dad who was extremely friendly and welcoming. The villa itself is very comfortable (AC works well), roomy (nice having 2 levels), clean and well equipped to cook meals either in the kitchen or using the outside bbq. We especially enjoyed spending time on the enormous terrace watching boats sail through the BEAUTIFUL, emerald coloured Bay of Kotor, surrounded by mountains. We also really enjoyed swimming off of the 2 private patios right in front of the apartment. The water is clean and deep and it was great having outside showers to rinse off the salt water.
Conveniently located as there is a little grocery shop 2 doors down and a little marina to get good coffees. It is a picturesque 20 min walk into the Old City of Kotor, which is packed with restaurants, bars, cafes and culture, history galore!!!
It was an absolute pleasure to meet and spend time with the hosts, Ana, Vyeko and the family as they were so friendly and accommodating, and provided a wealth of information about the area and it's history. They also provided information regarding excellent day trips (Porto Montenegro, Budva, Sveti Stefan and the 8 hour boat trip around the surrounding bays from Tivat).
Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful place to spend our family vacation!! We would definitely return to Terrace villa and stay longer!
We had so much fun in Montenegro and staying in Dobrota is definitely the place to be if you like swimming and amazing views. It's a hearty walk into Kotor town, but visually stimulating the whole way. The grocery two doors down had everything we needed for basics and the daily farmers' market in town had everything else. We never met Ana, but the Captain, her father, was a delightful host and a wealth of information on the area and the history. We wanted to stay on past our reservation and he helped us find a place in no time!
