The appartment is located in a very nice district of Istanbul, close to Taksim and to the tramway. It was very easy to organise our arrival and Nico/Ahmet got sure that we had everything we need. Can only recommand!
I've been several times in Istanbul and I've lodged in several different places, but less than two years ago I've discovered Nico and Ahmet and I won't change them as hosts for my stays in Istanbul. They are always kind, warm, helpful and careful. And their houses are always comfortable and everything is exactly as stated in the announces. They are a must if you want to spend a pleasant time in Istanbul!
It was a very pleasant stay! Very good accommodation option for budget travelers. The flat is within 10mins walk to Taksim square, only one turn as I remembered, with quiet and neat neighborhood. The flat is small but very cosy and tidy, I could find whatever I am supposed to have at home. Such a pity that I could only stay for a few nights, but definitely I will have it on the very top of the list of accommodation options next time when I travel to Istanbul.
BTW I didn't have the luck to meet Nico this time, instead I met another nice and friendly gentleman Ahmet, Nico's business partner. I believe Nico must be as helpful and patient as Ahmet in every way

About the Host, Nico
I am Nico and I am italian.
I live in this wonderful town since 2011
I love this amazing town from my first visit and i falled in love with at first sight so this is why I decided to move here.
I m renting flats with my turkish work partner Ahmet and I really love my job because I have the chance to meet people coming from all over the world and sometimes I like to drink a cup of tea with my guests and talking about our countries and many other subjects, in this way it is like I can travel all around the world staying here in Istanbul....without moving,
I am also a traveller and as I can I like to book a last minute flight discovering new countries
I like swiming, reading, listening music and watching documentaries is one of my favourite things.
I love animals...I love my dog Thelma and I miss her because she is in Italy with my mother, but I m sure she is better with my mum than with me, because my mother is cooking for her fresh meat every day:)
I m able to talk italian, english, spanish, french and now after 2 years living here I can say that my turkish is not really bad....but still learning :-)
I hope you to be my guest, and I will do my best to let you feel home!
