The Loft was a great experience. Everything looked exactly as it was described on Airbnb. You have a lot of space within the Loft an even a balcony where u can relax in the morning while enjoying the sunrise. Besides that the Loft itself is great, the location is it as well. U just need to go 4-5 minutes and you are in the city center. When we arrived, Ray welcomed us at the front door and showed us where to park (we could park directly in front of the building). Afterwards he explained us everything and offered us always to contact him if we have any issues. I can definitely to stay at this Loft whenever you are in Philadelphia. Great experience !
I felt so bad these people were more than accommodating. I arrived very late . I left personal items in the INCREDIBLE LOFT!
Beautiful apartment - clean, comfortable, interesting design and lots of thoughtful touches. Lovely places to eat close by. Ina and Ray made the whole process easy and were great with communication. Really enjoyed our stay in philadelphia.
The communication was great upon booking and throughout the weekend. The apartment was extremely clean and felt new. Ray met us at the door and directed us to park in the driveway in front of the building, gave us a few tips on restaurants in the area and let us stay past the noon check-out time, he also gave us the privacy and space we love and we did not see Ray again after meeting though he mentioned he would be available if we needed anything. We would recommend the space to friends visiting Philadelphia and would likely come back for our next time back. BTW - saw some reviews mentioning water temperature in the bathroom, if you turn the faucet to 9-10 o-clock the temperature of the shower was really hot. Thanks Ray for a great experience from start to finish!
I loved this place. Ina and Ray went above and beyond for me during my 2 night stay (I would tell you specifically how but I'm afraid future guests would expect the same thing). The space is large with plenty of room to stretch out. And I loved the neighborhood. Some might prefer something more residential or with more nightlife around, but I found it to be a good balance of nearby options and peace and quiet.
Ray was very understanding, considering my late arrivals (flight and train delay). He showed me around, and let me know where everything was surrounding the apartment. No complaints - I'd stay the location again.
The space looks exactly like the photography so this was a huge plus as the building is fabulous inside and out and incredibly clean. My partner and I were in town for one evening so we chose this location to take in sights of the downtown area.
We had no issues with the unit besides the shower water temperature being relatively cold. This came as a shock because the hot water was an appropriate temp in the sinks but a bit cold in the shower.
The surrounding neighborhood is eclectic as it is changing so there is a good bit of new development fused with old infrastructures and Missions for the homeless. The block the unit is on has quite a few homeless people BUT they are harmless and safety was not an issue. In fact, we felt quite at home as we live in a similar environment in LA.
We strolled through the community at night and day and really enjoyed taking in the sights.
It was a pleasurable stay and the hosts are very prompt with communication.
