Ryan was a GREAT host, a very comfortable guy to spend time with, who took the time to give me tips on what to see & do outside of the "usual" tourist stuff. Loved my room, private bathroom, large balcony (complete with the chickens!! ;o) and the apartment. While his review calls me a "quirky" guy, remember that this is coming from a really cool, laid-back guy with chickens on his balcony who giggles a lot ;o)!!!!! Loved Ryan & the apartment. Note that Barking is pretty far East of Paddington & there are not a lot of restaurants around the neighborhood, unless you're into British Pubs and carry-out! But Ryan is a hoot (no reference to his chickens) and I'd love to spend more time there with him when I return to London. Great host: funny, as quirky as me, has a great "giggle," and is very flexible and accommodating in terms of making his guests feel at home!
Loved meeting & staying with you, Ryan!
Best, Dave from Chicago
Ryan was a great flatmate. We got to know each other very well. It was very upsetting to leave because we became such close friends. He is great fun and made me feel as if i was at home. Overall I had an amazing experience with him. He gave me a lot of information about London, and even introduced me to some of his friends. I miss London very much but I miss laughing and spending time with Ryan even more. anyone who stays with him is in for a treat.
Ryans a great and accommodating host! He welcomed me on such short notice and was easily approachable when I had any questions! It's a lovely flat and I would definitely stay again :)
Ryan has a nice apartment in East London with a large balcony and great views. The bedroom was perfect and the bed very comfortable. The main bathroom was also available for sole use as Ryan has his own bathroom. What's more though is Ryan is a warm hearted guy with a great sense of humour. He had printed off tourist information for me and even welcomed me at 1.15am with a glass of wine. I had a really late arrival at his home due to my flight on Ryanair being late into Stansted Airport, then a very slow passport control and finally a delayed coach departure from the airport by 45 minutes! So all my plans for a midnight arrival went out the door. Ryan was fine with this and welcomed me warmly. I give Ryan top marks and will certainly stay with him again. Thanks Ryan! :-)
The host canceled my reservation the day before arrival.
