  • Rebecca was a fantastic host. She was responsive and more than helpful throughout the booking process. Her apartment is the ideal one bedroom in New York, with great space, a comfortable layout, and a fantastic location. I lived in New York for 2 years and not far from where her apartment is located... you can't get a better location for the price she offers. I would definitely book Rebecca's apartment for another stay. Thank you again for such a great experience!

  • Rebecca was in contact with me regularly from the time that I showed interest in the apartment until the day before my arrival. I picked up the keys at a local dry cleaning shop a block from the apartment and left them in the apartment upon departure. Rebecca was very flexible with arrival and departure times -- much better than any local hotel (we arrived at 12:30PM and departed at 3:00PM the following afternoon), Apartment was very clean, well furnished, and attractively decorated. Beds were exceptionally comfortable (including most comfortable sofa bed I've ever experienced). Apartment was roomy by New York standards, and was corner unit (fifth floor) with windows on two sides. It is well located for every type of retail, restaurants, etc. One block from 2/3 subway stop at Broadwat and 96th Street...a ten minute/three stop ride from Penn Station. We had a great stay and look forward to staying here in future when visiting New York.

  • We felt very lucky to stay in Becca's apartment. It was exactly as advertised, except the photos don't do it justice. We loved the little Christmas tree! it really was spacious, especially compared to typical NYC apartments. The bed and fold-out couch were both quite comfortable. The location was great, less than two blocks from the subway, and walking distance to many wonderfully areas, including Central Park.

Best of all was Becca's warmth and hospitality. She was instantly responsive to every single message and query. And extremely accommodating to our schedule. I highly recommend her and would love the opportunity to stay in herwinderful apartment again. Thank you for a great and comfortable home away from home!

  • My husband, college-aged daughter and I stayed in Rebecca's apartment for two nights over the Christmas holiday. Our stay could not have been better. We loved the sunny apartment and were very comfortable there. Clean linens awaited us, along with a cheerful note and instructions. Just as important, Rebecca was wonderfully friendly and responsive in arranging key drop-off, logistics, etc. And when I thought I left a pair of shoes in the apartment (turned out I did not!), she immediately searched for them, got back to me, showed concern--and even expressed genuine pleasure when she heard I had found them (after all the unnecessary searching!). All in all, a great experience!

I am a 26-year old female and have lived in this apartment with my boyfriend since August. Though we are partial, we believe it is a wonderful apartment and absolutely love coming home here each day. As a special education teacher in the South Bronx who recently got my Master's in Education at Hunter College, having this quiet haven has kept me grounded. My two biggest passions, besides teaching, are running and traveling (and it's great when I can do both at the same time). I have been to a fair amount of different countries (China, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Italy, Greece, Spain, various Caribbean islands) and personally love staying in a "home away from home". This is why I love the concept of Airbnb and would be happy to share my home with you!
