My family and I stayed here for one night so that we could visit the National Volcano Park. The house was cozy and perfect for a one night stay. We felt like we were at one with our surroundings thanks to the shower looking out into the garden and the peaceful veranda, which was perfect for morning yoga. While the house is conveniently located near the entrance to Volcano Park, we didn't realize when we booked the house that it would be nearly a one hour drive (one way) to go the trail where you can view lava at Kalapana.

An excellent location for visiting and spending some time with the family at Volcano. Central to shopping, the national park and also secluded enough to relax and take in the awesome vegetation. Would definitely stay here again as we are a family of 5 so this provided everyone with some much needed chill out space.

This house was a great place to stay in Volcano. It was very close to the town and the national park. In addition, the house was beautiful with very interesting architecture and lovely amenities, everything you could want. You really felt you were in the middle of the rain forest!

We enjoyed our stay. A lovely home in a beautiful rainforest location. It is close to the National Park, which made it convenient. If you are with a close-knit group of people I would recommend this home. It would be tough with those you do not know well, as the upstairs bedrooms had only partial walls. The photos were accurate, and the kitchen was fairly well appointed. We loved the glass brick shower.

This is a lovely house in a fantastic location. The sense of peace and beauty is amazing. We loved it! If you're planning to cook, however, you'll be disappointed with the kitchen. While it's truly beautiful, it's not well-stocked or well-maintained. Overall, this house is definitely a great choice and this area of the Big Island is not to be missed!

We loved our stay! The house is beautiful. The wood in the house is amazing. All 3 of my daughters loved the house. My 5 year old was so excited to have a pink room. Everyone in the family loved the huge shower, it's indoors but you feel that you're outdoors. The proximity to HVP was what we were looking for. We only spent 2 nights which was perfect for us because we needed to return to our main rental in Kona. I would definitely recommend this house! Also, try to buy food before you arrive since there's not much food shopping in Volcano.

I am Brazilian, originally from Recife, and have lived all over the world in the past few years. I used to live in Atlanta, then London, Rio and now in Hong Kong and Hawaii. I am an AirBnB host in Hawaii, where my houses are managed by my good friend Melissa, the hospitality queen. I have stayed in several AirBnB listings in my trips around the world, and traditional hotels are virtually dead for me.
