I will greet you upon your arrival and answer any questions you may have. I have lived in the Mad River Valley for over thirty years and can help with suggestions during your stay. You can choose to maintain full privacy or mingle, up to you.
The Mad River Valley is a very special place. It is a great place to get away in any season. Come to relax, or ski, play in the snow, skate, snowshoe, hike, bike, swim/kayak/canoe in the Mad River, enjoy cultural and arts events, farmers' markets, crafts/shopping, fine dining, the resort's amenities, and more. It is a very friendly community.
My house is about three minutes from the village and amenities. Just ten minutes to the ski resort. Montpelier is 30 minutes. Burlington is about 50 minutes, as is the airport.
Wifi throughout the house.
Susan graciously welcomed my friend and I to her beautiful mountain home with views of Sugarbush's Mt. Lincoln and Ellen, a roaring fireplace, a comfortable room and delicious guacamole. Her knowledge of the area is great if you're a newcomer to the Valley. We had a great time!
I had a great time staying at Susan's. She was gone for the weekend, so I had the place to myself. Everything felt like home - warm and clean, which was great. Susan was kind enough to leave me some eggs, oranges, and coffee -- making for a nice breakfast.
