Colin was great and so was his mom. The place was clean and the bathroom was almost always open. It was a lively part of Broadway at all times of the day. The only thing is that when we first arrived there was some kind of exchange going on at his next door neighbor's apartment and the whole floor smelled like weed. Not his fault at all of course, and it didn't bother me, but my mom was a little uneasy about that. Though as the week went on we realized that we were perfectly safe.
Colin and his mother were very friendly and accommodating. My flight got in 2 hours late and Colin stayed up until after midnight to let me in to the apartment. The apartment was conveniently located and comfortable.
Excellent séjour chez Colin et sa maman. Quartier au top, métro à proximité. Merci à eux deux pour leur accueil.
Colín is an excellent person, the room is so beautifil, the subway is very near.
Colin's apartment is really nice, quiet, clean and comfortable. I really like the decorations in the room. Ms Colin is very kind lady like family. It's the first time to travel in New York and we really had a great time. Thanks for everything sharing in the apartment.
Staying at Colin's is my first experience on airbnb and it's indeed a good choice. Convenient on train 1 direct from upper west side to lower manhattan. Just minutes away from house to subway by walk(maybe 7 minutes). And also you can get stuffs from supermarket, good bar/ restaurant in this neighborhood. Will consider to choose again if visiting NYC next time. Thx Colin!
Colin and his mother were fantastic and gracious hosts. I had booked the room for my parents who were coming into town for my graduation and they were so happy with their experience. "Why would anyone want to book a hotel?" they said.
The apartment is a very beautiful (and proper, not a NYC-closet-) apartment . The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. Colin's mother was always home to greet us. She was so kind and sweet. We particularly appreciated how they were okay with me popping in and out to pick up my parents.
Overall great experience and we would highly recommend!
Thank you for the great review, and thank you for choosing to stay with us. Your Mom is wonderful. She is so nice and friendly. My Mom really enjoyed their conversations. Guests like your parents have made Airbnb a wonderful experience for both of us.
