Bright, comfortable room very close to Dublin city centre. Modern house with parking on a quiet street - ideal for peaceful sleep in's, relaxing in the garden and breakfasting in the sunny kitchen. Beautiful Phoenix park, local swimming pool and public transport are all close by.
Come and stay at my newly renovated open-plan home. The double room is restful with plenty of storage. There are all mod cons in the house at your disposal. I am located in a quiet street very close to the city.
Guest have full access to the house and all its facilities. This is for short term stays only.
I live in the house, but am in and out a lot of the time. Happy to chat, but also to give you your own space.
The neighborhood is situated just 2 km from both the city centre and the beautiful Phoenix park. There are several bus routes 300 meters from the door and buses take 10 mins to the centre, Alternatively, if you fancied a walk it would take about 25 minutes to O'Connell Street. Dublin's botanical gardens are a also 2 km - well within walking distance and worth a visit.
Near to us are the villages of Phibsborough and Stonybatter where you will find supermarkets, bars, international restaurants and lots of second hand shops.
Buses 122, 120 and 38/a stop 300 meters from the house - cost €1.90 from and to city centre. A taxi from the city costs in the region of €8.00 and from the airport to the house €20.00.
Happy to provide you with details of what's on in the city - gigs, venues, restaurants, plays, exhibitions and pubs. I'll know the hots spots and the not so hot spots!
This is a gay friendly home. Welcome and I look forward to meeting you.
Edel was a lovely host. Incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, breakfast was delightful and there was always a cup of tea on hand. Our stay was made very easy indeed. Thank you, Edel!
We recommend this place to everyone!!! Edel is an ideal host. The breakfest was delicious. The place was always clean and spotless. Edel's house is situated in a quaiet area and just 10 minutes from the city centre (by bus). Whenever we are in Dublin we will always come back here :-)
Such a lovely stay at Edel's! The house is really stylish and inspiring, I loved my room and the bathroom also is so nice! Edel was really kind, supportive and friendly but never invasive. Breakfast was rich and tasty and Edel always ask if you want something more or different. You will love also the quiet zone, nice and so close to bus stop and shops. By the way I enjoyed at times a walk to the city centre and it is quite not too far! A must come back!
We stayed 2 nights at Edel's house.
Coming from the airport, the taxi driver didn't take us to the exact street (he might have told us why but we didn't understand him :P ) and we felt a bit lost, at night, in an unknown city.
We just had to call Edel and she picked us up in 5 minutes.
It's true the room is cosy, actually the whole house is.
Bed is REALLY comfortable, everything is super clean and we had everything we needed, regarding towels, wifi password etc.
Besides, when we got up in the morning we had different things for breakfast, and we were invited to eat as much as we wanted to.
We had opportunity to share some time with Edel, have a chat about different things...
This is exactly what you are looking for when booking using Airbnb!
Such a wonderful stay I had at Edel's!
Lovely house, lovely room, lovely music!
Last but not least (not at all), lovely host! :)
The location suits various needs: working in Damastown area and hanging out downtown.
Our staying at Edel's was really pleasant.
Edel is a very kind person, she gave us all the space and the privety we needed, she is a very welcoming and nice person(;
And her place is very stylish indeed!
I recommend to all of you travelers there!!
