Stay among the vines in our renovated Carriage House! Located on a working vineyard in the heart of Sonoma valley, you'll love our updated Carriage House's vintage, wine country charm, while appreciating its modern amenities. A two-minute walk through the vines takes you to world class wineries, restaurants, and shops. Or, relax at home with a glass of wine, or playing Bocce. Make your stay extra special with a private tasting of our Hamilton Family Wines, led by either Lindsay or Greg!

The space
Conveniently located in the heart of the Sonoma valley on the Hamilton Family Wines vineyard, additional wineries such as Landmark, MacLaren, La Rochelle, Chateau St. Jean, St. Anne's Crossing, and many more are an easy stroll away. Our beautiful property feels like the country, but is located immediately outside the village of Kenwood, with shops and several dining options. Your private retreat is comfortably appointed with two bedrooms, each featuring a Queen bed, and an additional queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. The bright and airy living area offers an electric fireplace, flat-screen TV, and indoor-outdoor living on a large deck offering expansive views over our walnut trees, south block vineyard, Landmark Winery, and Sugarloaf mountain. Your separate, and very private, outdoor space is nestled between the Carriage house and our vintage barn, offering dappled shade most of the day. The outdoor space features a dining table, gas grill, and lounge seating with firetable. The well appointed kitchen has everything you need for gourmet wine-country eating, featuring a top-of-the-line electric range, microwave, toaster, full-sized fridge, a Keurig K-Cup coffee maker (we supply the coffee), electric kettle, and all the pots, pans, and utensils you'd need and expect. Interior dining is around a charming country table. There's also a full size dishwasher so you can spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying wine-country.
We want you to feel welcome and enjoy your time in wine-country, so we provide a bottle of wine with our compliments. We also offer a unique, owner-guided tasting of our Hamilton Family Wines set among the vines and with beautiful views across the valley and mountains beyond.

My wife, two kids, and I moved to Kenwood in August 2016. Together we manage Hamilton Family Vineyards, and hope to add "Winery" to that in the not-to-distant future. In the meantime, we're delighted to share our little slice of heaven with guests of all backgrounds from all around the world. Our renovated Carriage House is truly a unique property, we know you'll love it, nestled among the vines and within walking distance to world-class wineries. As hosts, we're friendly but discrete; we're happy to stop and chat if you like, but mostly we'll leave you alone to make yourselves comfortable and at home.
We love Sonoma for the wine, of course, as well as the amazing food. But there's more to Sonoma than just wine: amazing culture, fascinating history, great hiking, biking, and recreation activities, and, of course, the lovely people. And, as an ex-pat Scot, I also love the glorious weather!
We look forward to welcoming you home to Sonoma!
