It is a historic palace located in the heart of a small town in Provence that has many charms with its castle, chapels, mansions, market. It is very nice to go out on foot to do your shopping. Outdoors there are lovely walks in hills, vineyards and nearby tourist villages like Grignan, Nyons and Vaison la Romaine.

The space
This palace was built in the 18th century by the Count of Bruges whose son was the king's chamberlain and lieutenant-general of the kingdom of France.
It has been restored with great care recently in order to add to the charm of the place the comfort of today. The inner courtyard is covered which gives a spectacular side to the stairwell.
the garden has been redone around a large pool and summer stay opened by a large arch.

Where you’ll be

Valréas, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France

Valréas is a city acquired by the popes in 1317. It was the capital of the High Comtat Venaissin (lands belonging to the pope). That's why there are beautiful houses in this place. There is also the castle of Simiane, today the town hall, belonging at the time to the little daughter of the Marquise de Sévigné and daughter of the Countess of Grignan.
There are also historic monuments such as the Church of Our Lady of Nazareth, dating back to Romanesque times and chapels of penitents, as well as a medieval tower with a magnificent view of the city.
Our palace is in the heart of the beautiful hotels of the large families of Valréas.
There's a lovely market on Wednesday. Many shops and restaurants also allow you to shop and dine outside your home without having to take your car.
A theatre and a cinema animate the cultural life of the city.
The same goes for shops?

i am in love with old stones and my job is to restore old buildings or classified in historic cities. My wife and I love decor and contemporary art. That's why we have restored this apartment in a very modern style. I love politics, I'm an borough advisor in Paris.
I like to stroll around Paris, along the quays and shopping streets because I'm a foodie.
Finally, making a card game with a good bottle of wine is very pleasant to me.
