We're not really a hotel so when staying with us, consider yourself part of the household and make yourself at home. Alway enjoy good company.
I was met by Jerry's mom since Jerry himself had rented the entire house and was traveling the whole time I was here. She was charming, helpful and totally made me feel welcome. So did the cat!
I love to explore and that first day i realized that Jerry's place was perfectly located! It was an easy walk to the grocery store, hip shopping area, cool restaurants and of course the yoga studio where my month was centered. The best part of my experience was the fact that Jerry's place has attracted 2 other yogis that were participating in the same training! We hung together, cooked food together in the fabulous kitchen and enjoyed the back deck and determined that the location drew us all together! Thanks Jerry! I loved having fresh eggs! I will admit that I really enjoy the changing neighborhood; it is colorful and full of cute cats. The short walk to a nearby park was delightful. I also discovered Station Art Museum, one of the country's finest independent art galleries, was about 4 blocks away. The discovery of amazing places like Sparrow for a fabulous happy hour bite and Luigi's just across the street for homemade blood orange and grapefruit Italian Ices were two more jewels of the neighborhood. The bedroom I stayed in was perfect. The overhead fan and comfy bed made sleeping awesome! Jerry was always available via text which turned out to be handy. Jeff, who is from Houston as well, took us to The Black Labrador and suggested we visit The Rothko Chapel. Wow! I would have been remiss not to have made it to that amazing place!
I felt good having convinced Jeff to go and try The Breakfast Klub where southern style hospitality met sublime Catfish and Grits! It too was only a 6 block walk from Mobley Court.
For making my stay easy, convenient and satisfying in ways that a big hotel can never fulfill, I am truly grateful to have found Jerry's place as a respite for me in Houston. If I come back, I would definitely stay here again!

Annie, I wasn't able to leave you a review in time but it was a pleasure having you here. You made the area sounds refreshing, I guess that happens when you stay somewhere long enough. Jeff said nothing but good things, thanks again for the minding the pets while I was away.
I loved staying at Jerry's! He was a great and welcoming host. The space was clean and comfortable with the added bonus of his 2 lovely pets: Mosley the cat and his dog Tina. I stayed for three weeks and was super sad to go. Jerry went above and beyond. This is a great place for a longer stay or people new to Houston. It is centrally located and easy to get just about anywhere. I only had a car for part of the time and had no problem walking and biking anywhere within the inner loop. Definitely recommend and would come back again.
I had a short but great stay with Jerry. His place is nice, clean, and comfortable and he and his roommates were all cool and accommodating. The house is on the edge of midtown and you can get pretty much where you need to go by foot. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.
Thanks for letting us stay in your awesome house, especially on such short notice. We felt very welcomed by you and your lovely housemate. The room was clean and specious, and the bed was so comfortable that we forgot where we were. The location was great for going out in either Downtown or the Montrose/Heights area.
Jerry is an excellent host and provided us with ideas on fun things to do in Houston. We certainly recommend staying at Jerry’s when in Houston. We’re sure we will be back next time we are in town.

Good location right near downtown and midtown. Super clean house and Jerry is a great guy and willing to help. Recommended!
My friend and I traveled for a concert at RodeoHouston and only needed a place to stay for one night. Jerry was very accommodating when our plans changed and we couldn't make it to the house until after the show. Even though it was 1am when we arrived, Jerry warmly welcomed us in and showed us around his very nice & comfortable home! We had everything we needed, and slept well. The next morning, we enjoyed delicious coffee and a nice visit with another house guest staying there long-term from France. Jerry was easy to work with & I'd stay there again if I have the chance.
The reservation was canceled 26 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
