Giangiacomo was very attentive, checking in frequently before and during our stay. Despite not being in town at the time, he provided us recommendations in advance, and a contact in case we needed anything. The apartment is a wonderful 1 bedroom, spacious and stylish, and a short walk up some stairs to the city center. When Giangiacomo learned the wifi would not be fixed ahead of our arrival, he offered to cancel and refund (instead we used a nearby cafe for wifi). Great host with a great place, I would stay here again.
Giangiacomo could not have been more helpful with this booking, both before and during my visit. He sent me a list of places to eat before I arrived, met me from the mini tram station and then gave me a little tour of the centre to find the supermarket, introduce me to the local coffee bar owner and show me the main squares. Plus he texted a few times during my stay to make sure everything was going well and check if I needed anything! He is the most welcoming, helpful and attentive host I've ever met and I would certainly recommend him. Plus the red apartment is fantastically placed to explore the city, very well equipped and Giangiacomo had even stocked the fridge and cupboards with some essentials like orange juice, water, breakfast biscuits, his favourite coffee and his own olive oil!!! I will certainly be back!!
Giangiacomo is an excellent host. He sent us helpful information about Perugia and the surrounding area well ahead of our stay so we could plan our trip.
He met us from the bus and showed us the flat and walked us about the neighbourhood giving us helpful hints about where to shop and eat.
He thoughtfully left us water, wine and starter food and staples like salt, sugar and oil were available.
He kept in contact throughout our stay by text, answering any queries we had.
The flat was clean, comfortable, well equipped and most of the time very quiet for such a central location.
The location is great for the city centre and also for using buses and trains.
We would happily recommend this flat without reservation to anyone. Although up two flights of stairs, they are easy and if you are planning to see Perugia you need to be reasonably mobile!
L'appartamento è davvero bello, pulito e centrale.
This apartment was perfect - the attention to detail and cleanliness was wonderful. Some food and drink was left for our use which was a nice touch. The location was great. Close to everything but quiet during the jazz festival. Giangiacomo was the perfect host, he walked us around the town to orient ourselves and book us into the hard to book venues.
L'appartamento rosso è splendido! Curato, pulitissimo,
In posizione centralissima !
Giangiacomo is a very nice and generous host. He picked us up at the parking place and brought us to the apartment. After showing us the apartment he showed us around in the neighborhood.
The apartment was really clean and had a luxurious feeling due to the nice wooden floors and the lovely bathroom with perfect shower. We had great internet access in the apartment and overall we enjoyed the apartment very much. It even has a dish washer. The only downside to the apartment is that there no outside space (no terrace or balcony). However, as the apartment is situated closely to many restaurants and wine bars we hardly missed a balcony.
The apartment is situated in a great area, near the Corso Vannucci and near Borgo XX Giugnio. There are a lot of nice restaurants here. Giangiacomo gave us lots of useful and nice tips for places to go. He knew great wine bars as well as more cultural activities. During the week he texted several times to provide us with more information and suggestions for other places near Perugia.
Because we had a car it was easy to visit other places such as Assisi and Lago Trasimeno. Both are lovely. We could not park the car for free near the apartment, however, there is a mini metro which goes to the stadion where parking is free. The mini metro is less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment. This connection takes about 15 minutes and is perfect. Every minute the metro goes, so you never have to wait.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in Perugia and it was a perfect holiday!
