No check-in required. Gooserosa Bed & Breakfast Farm Stay is a fantastic carriage house over an extra-large detached garage w/sleepy farm nestled in Skagit Valley, just minutes to Goose Reserve & Tulip fields. We have flowers, chickens, and stunning views of wintering swans & snow geese with beautiful valley views & sunrises over Mt Baker & Cascades. The Nest is an extra-large open floor plan with a tall wood-beamed ceiling, big view windows, with full-size kitchen & bath, fireplace, WIFI!

The space
The Nest Carriage House condo faces out to the lush rich farmland in the Skagit Valley basin, overlooking and within throwing distance of beautiful daffodil fields, tulip fields, snow geese, swans, and eagles, both on the ground and in flight. In fact, two eagles perched in trees above the condo most of the day. The Nest condo affords you the luxury of privacy, cleanliness, warmth and comfort and only a couple of minutes to La Conner... plus only one hour from Seattle and 20 minutes to the San Juan Island Ferries.

We offer free WiFi, 2 soft fluffy bathrobes. If you book with Air B&B you are welcome to some of our fresh eggs for breakfast starting in April when we will have plenty of layers. We are set up for long stays and business stays with a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen comes completely stocked with cookware and some basics for cooking, such as olive oil, 18 spices, tea, and ground drip coffee.

The king-size bed is super comfortable with a new latex foam mattress and extra pillow topper for added comfort. Freshly laundered (and unscented) sheets and towels are in good supply and stored in your unit for your use. If you are here for a long stay we bring you fresh linens upon your request. There is a futon with linens and blankets for two more people, and two small portable beds, small children-sized beds for you to use. We also have a high chair for the small tots that come here. This space can really sleep six people if necessary. PS Baby Mooners give our Nest high ratings! So do Anniversary stayers and Proposal Makers.

The Gooserosa Bed & Breakfast Farm Stay is in the rural farmland area of the Skagit Valley, on Best Road, called Pleasant Ridge, well known for its old big farmhouses and big sky views of the Skagit Valley farmlands. The Rexville Grocery is just 1 mile down the road and is the local watering hole and also famous for its "Taco Tuesday" offerings. The tourist town of La Conner is only four miles away with plenty of shopping and restaurants to explore. Two horses next door come up to the fence for handouts. Please be aware and warned that the baby is not halter trained and does bite. Please keep your distance from her.

Risk taker, like to try new things. Love gardening and watercolor. I can't live without my family or my grand-kids. My favorite travel destination home. Life motto is to make every moment count.

During your stay

I am often nearby and am available to answer any questions. I like to know your arrival time and departure if you know it. We are happy to guide you on a bike ride tour of the local farmlands any time of the year, during the Tulip Festival or for a chance to see the wintering swans and snow geese, or take you on a fabulous kayak tour (weather permitting) with snacks included, where we can view the snow geese, seals, and eagles in their natural element. $150 per person Kayaking and $75 per person Bike Rides. 2-3 hour estimate. We need advanced notice to do these events. We also would love to get together with you the first morning you are here and share a coffee/ tea with you just to meet you and also to see if we can help you plan your stay or recommend some great places to visit. Timing on that is usually 8 am here at our house. Please let us know you are interested in coming over otherwise we will respect your privacy and respond only to your requests. (Not during COVID)
