The Space

Experience New York while staying at the most nice and cozy neighborhood in Brooklyn. Greenpoint -only 20 minutes away from the city and only 5 minutes from Williamsburg- has an strategic location that connects you to all 5 boroughs within minutes. You can find the G train just a block away from the apt, which connects you to either Uptown Manhattan and Queens, or to Downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn. The neighborhood is super nice and safe, with new excellent restaurants, bars, cafes surrounding the apt (Alameda, Glasserie, Pauli Gees, Bakeri, Achilles Heel) as well as great supermarkets (The Garden half a block away) delis/ groceries open 24/7, and all major banks.

My new and very cozy apartment is big and it’s great for singles, couples, or for 3 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen a full and super cool living room, a private bathroom and a private bedroom with a comfortable Full bed. It has a full office – artist studio with lots of sunlight hitting mornings and afternoons.

    Response from Carolina:

This reservation got cancelled due to events beyond my control. I got
very sick the day before and had to cancel the trip I was supposed to do
the next day and could not find a place to stay to be able to rent my
    apartment.

  • We had a fantastic week in NYC and especially in Williamsburg/Brooklyn . Even if we planned our stay at short notice Carolina confirmed our reservation straight away. The apartment was big, clean, luminous, well planned, 2 minutes from the nearest subway and 10 minutes walk from all the bars and restaurants. Everything you could need from swimming pool, park, food markets, bars was only 10 mins away. This apartment is very nice for those who would like to stay clear of the noise and bussle in the big city. Williamsburg is like a little village with shopping, nice restaurants, and nice people. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

  • Although we haven't seen Carolina, everything went very smoothly! Carolina replied very quickly upon our questions during our stay.
    - Her apartment was clean, very cosy, featured with all amenities needed and exactly like the pictures.
    - The neighborhood was perfect: very friendly, we definitely felt safe.
    - The apartment is very close to grocery stores, a great laundromat (Sunshine) and coffee shop (Upright Coffee) next to it!
    - The subway is also very close, you can reach Manhattan easily and quickly.
    - Great bed!
Me and my friend Amber enjoyed our stay in Carolina's apartment very much, it was a great base from which we were able to discover the city. I would definitely recommend it! Hope to stay there again someday :)

  • Carolina answered quickly and made it very easy. Really made efforts to leave the keys somewhere for me as I was getting to NYork very late at night.

Apartment is very clean and nice. Kitchen, natural light, bedroom, living room. Very comfortable and very good sized.

Greenpoint is a very nice area kind of up and coming on a Williamsburg way.

It was a very good visit on a business trip.

  • Carolina was a great host! The apartment was clean and comfy. The neighborhood was great, tons of good places to eat at and very conveniently close to the city. Carolina was very flexible with check in and check out which I greatly appreciated. I would definitely stay there again!!!

  • Overall, this place worked perfectly for our trip to NYC. We came for a workshop being held in Greenpoint, and were able to conveniently walk to it each day. We also stayed a bit longer so we could explore Manhattan and other areas of Brooklyn. The apt is close to the G train, which can take you to Manhattan. We spent a few days out in the city and enjoyed retreating to our quieter neighborhood at night. The place was actually bigger than I expected it to be, and was clean. Carolina was great with meeting us there and showing us around the apartment.

I would probably not have stayed in Greenpoint if my workshop hadn't been there, but I'm glad we did. It is a pretty cool area. We also enjoyed walking to Williamsburg (10 mins south) and exploring there as well.

Thanks Carolina for the great stay!

  • Cute, spacious apartment in good neighborhood. Very close to subway, cafés, markets etc.

Any problems I had were responded to by Carolina fairly quickly.

  • The location was great, just what we had in mind to stay in Greenpoint, close to the G train. When we arrived, it seemed clear that there wasn't much effort put into getting the apartment ready (it was unclean, there were dirty dishes in the sink, the bedsheets weren't changed, and the apartment had a strong smell (cat?)).

The apartment was spacious and there was a lot of light, which was nice. It was close to a grocery store and nice cafes.

With more effort put into getting the apartment suitable for people to stay in, I would have felt more comfortable paying this rate.
