Very comfortable queen size bed in open, sunny loft. No enclosed rooms, but enough privacy and space. Also living here are 2 cats and 1 dog. You must love pets and understand they can be unpredictable.

Unique New York loft, with huge windows and high ceilings, converted from an old commercial space. There are no actual enclosed rooms but areas are sectioned off with curtains. Your room has a queen size bed and small dressing area.
The noise level is average for an apartment in an old building in Manhattan with restaurants and bars close by. Some nights you can hear street traffic, or neighbors having parties, or steam pipes in the winter; other nights it is quiet. Consider it noisy if you are looking for quiet, otherwise it is normal noise level for an apartment in Manhattan that faces a street.
Shared areas include sofa with TV, dining table with window seating, wifi, kitchen with microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, etc. You are welcome to cook here and use anything in the kitchen and store food in the refrigerator.
There is a small bathroom with only shower and toilet. There is no tub or sink (there is only one sink in the kitchen) but there are extra toilet access outside of apartment in the hallway. The toilet is a macerator and can be noisy. Clean sheets and towels available. Coin laundromat in building next door. 24 hour deli downstairs.
I live and work here in a sectioned off space. There are also two (2) cats and a tiny Chihuahua. The dog uses wee wee pads in the bathroom. I try to keep the apartment as tidy as possible but sometimes they can be messy. Please remember this is their home too :)

Hanh was a great host, made us feel like visiting a friend. Highly recommendable!
Convenient place to stay, with an experienced host. Everything was as advertised.
The place is kept quite clean and the bed is quite comfortable. There is only a sink in the kitchen (not the bathroom) which is a bit unusual, but not too troublesome. Hanh's cat is very friendly and might want to join you in bed in the mornings. The toilet makes a loud banging noise after you flush which is startling at first. The building is a bit old, so the elevator is quite slow, the hallways feel a bit desolate, and the pipes make a lot of noise at night, but the place is well kept and you will have good privacy regardless of the fact that the room is sectioned off with a curtain.
My girlfriend and I lived here for two nights and we loved the place. The studio was clean, quite and very well kept. Hanh and her pets are very friendly. We recommend this place to anyone who visits NYC.
It was great stay. Hanh was very helpful and welcoming. Her pets, two cats and a dog are very friendly so we also enjoyed to play with them.
Wifi is strong in the room and rooms are very clean.
I totally reccommend you to stay there.
Thank you so much!
Hanh was a savior when we were grounded in jfk with a blizzard. We had a super warm cozy stay in her loft and loved being in the middle of such great food in China town and so close to the Italian quarter. She was fast to respond which helped us out heaps when we had to make emergency plans. Thanks Hanh!
