The space
The house is on a 10 acre piece of land with plenty of room to roam with your family and pets🐶🐴! The living space, kitchen 🍽️ and a full bathroom 🚽 are upstairs, and both bedrooms 🛌 and the second bathroom 🚽 are downstairs. We do have chickens on site, and have an egg stand on the property for purchase. If you’d like some left in the house for you, please let us know when you book. If you have egg cartons, please save them for us! We love recycling clean cartons!

Guest access
You’ve got free roam of the entire property, with exception to the other living quarters. There is also a separate "outhouse" next to the pavilion, which has 2 plumbed toilets, 1 indoor shower, 2 outdoor showers, and a large sink. Great for cleaning up after outdoor activities. Please specify if you'll need access to the Outhouse before your trip so we can open it up for you. This separate facility will be used by renters of the glampers on site, should they be rented.

Other things to note
There are 2 vintage glampers on very front of the property (also listed on AirBnB), and about 300’ away from the ranch house. They are available to be rented as extra sleeping quarters for you and your guests. If not rented by you, it is sometimes rented by others via AirBnB, however the Glamper renters (if not part of the party staying in the house) do not have access to the house or the facilities near the house. If you prefer to have the property to yourself (not allowing the campers to rent), please be sure to communicate this to us when you request booking, and we will do our best to accommodate! It is a $50 per night charge to block the campers from booking while you’re there.

We also have another property called The Green Room (vintage music themed), 1/2 a mile up the road, walking distance to the local restaurants. If you need more beds for heads, check it out!

There is an apartment behind the pavilion in the back pasture where we live during the winter months, and we are available for anything our renters may need, but we will not be in or around the house while it is rented. It is your space while you are here.

We are close to Glen Rose, with the Dinosaur Park, as well as the Fossil Rim Animal Park! Glen Rose has wonderful antique stores and cute little restaurants and a soda shop! The Tailgate Ranch sits 1/2 mile away from downtown Walnut Springs, which has a few unique shops, a music venue, and restaurants, as well as 2 liquor stores and gas station.
