My experience at Tomas's Victorian home was quite enjoyable. My accommodation were clean and tidy. Tomas is a very relaxed and pleasant host. He walked my dog on several occasions and we enjoyed a cocktail in his living room with a fellow guest. Highly recommended.

It was a nice overnight escape from the city. The building itself is out of the world beautiful and original. You'd find new things every time you walk around the house. Tomas was really nice, he welcomed me to walk around to truly appreciate the woodwork and the art. It's easy to imagine how people lived back then in Victorian times.

Though my stay was brief, Thomas' house is just as it appears in the photos (beautiful old, dark wood and in good taste) and his accomodations proved very flexible and all was very comfortable.

Tomas's house was my best Air BnB experience yet. His house is beautiful. If you love the Victorian period, you have to stay in this place. If you don't love the Victorian period, you'll be a convert by the time you leave. It is also close to lots of good restaurants, cafes and a lovely grocery store, Tangiers. I was researching at the Stowe Centre and the Connecticut Historical Society and it was a short and safe walk to both. But what really makes this place special is Tomas himself. He loves Hartford and is incredibly knowledgable about the history of the city. He is also a brilliant host. He picked me up from the station, invited me to a gathering with his wonderful family, and was fantastic company. i really can't recommend this place enough and would love to go back.
