Private, two-bedroom apartment in our antique farmhouse, on the second-oldest farm in America. Unparalleled historical significance and amazing views of seasonal crops, conservation land and our farm animals. Convenient access to Newburyport, Ipswich and area beaches. One mile to the commuter rail which gets you to Salem in less than 30 mins and Boston in one hour. Right next door to the famous flea market Todd Farm.

The space
Our seven-acre property includes the farmhouse (a two-family - we live on the other side), a large 18th-century barn where we host events such as weddings, seasonal crops, and farm animals (sheep, goats, ducks, a pig and chickens). The perfect place for a private romantic getaway or for families. (If we are home, you can help us feed the animals if you'd like.) The apartment has two bedrooms upstairs, and a bathroom (with laundry), kitchen, dining room and fireplaced living room downstairs.

You'll have access to a fire pit outside, and a private patio with grill. We have a small swing set for little ones.

We are right next door (walking distance) to the famous flea market Todd Farm, which is open every Sunday from early spring through late fall. It's about a 10-minute ride to Newburyport or Ipswich, including Crane Beach. Boston is about a 45-minute drive, or one hour via Commuter Rail, which is close to the house. 30 minutes to Salem, MA via commuter rail. We recommend having a car, as this is a rural area - only a few things are within walking distance.

The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Absolutely no pets, smoking, vaping or open flames in the house. The cottage is on the grounds of the Barn at Bradstreet Farm but is not available for overnight stays for events here.

Other things to note
We recommend having a car - this is a rural area. Though Uber and Lyft operate in the area, you may feel a bit stranded without your own wheels.
