This comfortable, sunny and charming 1 BR apartment has a truly old Boston feel. On the 4th floor of a 5 story classic brick building, it's wooden floors and high ceilings are the perfect haven. It is on a peaceful residential street 1 block away from the bustling Fenway neighborhood.
The sun drenched living room, high ceilings, and antique feel will make you feel right at home. It is around 700 square feet.
The apartment offers free Wifi and a printer. We also have a projector with a pull down screen (you will have to bring your own computer to hook it up) and a DVD collection.
The bedroom has a comfortable double bed (at ground level) and we also have an extremely comfortable queen sized air mattress that you can set up in the living room to accommodate more people. We will provide sheets and towels.
You are free to use our two bikes in the basement, but PLEASE be very conscious of locking them up.
There is coin operated laundry in the basement. $1.75 for both washing and drying.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker.
We do not have parking access and it could be a challenge. There are meters on boylston st. that are free from 8pm to 8am and are then 2 hour restricted during the day. Also, the trilogy garage close by offers overnight parking until 8am for $10.
We rent the apartment when we are out of town, so you will probably not see us or only see us to give you the keys. We will be easily reachable for any questions, but you have complete privacy.
The location is ideal. It is one block away from Boylston Steet and two blocks away from Historic Fenway park, which are filled with restaurants and bars. One block away in the opposite direction is a large park with public gardens and green space. Newbury street and the prudential center are within a 15 minute walk.
Kenmore station, a green line stop, is a 10 minute walk and will take you directly downtown. The orange line at Mass Ave is about a 15 minute walk. Also, the 55 bus comes right down Jersey street, which drops you (email hidden) (the Boston common).
We will leave keys to the bike locks on the entry way table. Our bikes are one of the first ones, one black and one white and blue locked together.
Natalie and Max's apartment is fantastic!
I stayed during a very cold spell, and could not believe how warm and comfortable their place is. It was totally cosy and comforting, lovely bedding, nice furniture, in a beautifully refurbished old mansion building in a wonderful safe area right by the park by Museum of Fine Art.
Also extremely convenient for getting to downtown area.
Max met me there and explained everything carefully, and was very sweet and easy going.
He very generously gave me access to his bike which I found was great for nipping about.
The kitchen is well equipped so I was able to cook a bit too.
There is a really good feel to the place, and it was certainly yet another amazing Airbnb place to stay that I will remember with fondness. Extremely highly recommended! Thank you Max and Natalie :-)
