Our backyard casita is a fully furnished, one room studio with full bathroom. We have a coffee machine, microwave, and mini fridge in the bungalow for our guests. The comfy bed and workspace are perfect for a solo traveler or a couple.
Our neighborhood is urban, yet peaceful. You *might* hear people, neighbors, parties, music, cars, sirens, trains, chickens, homeless people, etc.
The space
Our backyard bungalow is a fully furnished, one room studio with full bathroom. There is no kitchen. We have a coffee machine, microwave, and mini fridge in the bungalow for our guests.
If you need something in particular during your stay, please let us know. We will try to be as accommodating as possible.

Guests have access to the entire casita, accessible via private gated entrance.
The other buildings also have shared access to the backyard.
Please note: since guests will enter the property via a driveway gate, there might at times be a car in the driveway.
Other things to note
We have chickens and they are typically pretty quiet, but sometimes they do start squawking. If this happens it is usually in the morning when they are laying eggs and it doesn't last long. We also have two dogs who are sometimes out in the yard, but always supervised.

Neighborhood highlights
We are in downtown San Jose so you might hear city sounds: neighbors, sirens, trains, music, etc. On rare occasion, our neighbors can be noisy. We have chickens, and they occasionally squawk in the morning. Typically though, we find our home and backyard to be enjoyable, tranquil spaces.
We're located in the Hensley Historic District, the largest concentration of Victorian homes in the area and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
