  • Simply PERFECT. Beatiful house, wonderful hosts and fabulous experience. We never imagined that we would have such a wonderful time at the loft in the lagoon and we definitely did. From our stay in Buzios and Paraty, this was the best experience. From the moment we booked the loft, Silvia was always responsive to my emails and requests. She gave us recommendations about booking a car, gave us special instructions and even asked us the type of food that our 1 year old baby eats (which was a really nice detail from her). She offered us the special transportation service that they use (Paulo) and we accepted it. Paulo picked us up at the airport on time and took us to the house (we dropped the car at the gas station) and he took us to the chalana boat that took us to the house (5 min from the gas station). Our baby was fascinated with the chalana boats (he had more fun watching the chalana boats than been at the beach or anything else). When we arrived, they received us with complimentary coconut water, caipirinas and homemade food for the baby. They really made us feel at home. The house is on an island so the experience is really cool. Paulino (a great guy that works with them) and Marina (Silvia's daughter - super cool) took us on a boat tour to the area. We even ate at a restaurant bar in the island by boat. The loft is next to Silvia's house and next to the studio. The three houses are beutiful, made with recycable materials and the sculptures are made by Silvia and her husband Francisco (who makes the best caipirina I have ever had). Everything was very clean. The space is really big, two floors, two bathrooms, plenty of space and beds. Breakfast was delicious, Paulino served our daily breakfast in the garden where we could see the chalana boats crossing. The baby loved everything and we too. They have a menu on the fridge in case you would like to order something in the house during the day. We used the pool and went to Barra beach at Pepe's which was really nice. Marina gave us daily recommendations on what to do in Rio with maps and she went with us to Copacabana New Year Party in the rain (the best). We had such a wonderful time. Thanks Utropico for every single detail and made our stay a perfect vacation.
