This top rated house apartment overlooking a lake (only meters away from the window), minutes away from the city, but far enough from the bustle of the city center. Our new apartment, constructed within a building from the 1820s, is near public transport and surrounded by peaceful recreational areas. We have a forest behind the house and lake in front. Suitable for everyone who loves nature and wants to stay near the city while experiencing a Swedish home with a relaxing countryside feeling.

The space
Our house is expertly cleaned and disinfected by an experienced cleaning company before your stay and all of our linen is professionally laundered. This property away from the city center is located in a peaceful area, surrounded by a forest on one side and a lake on the other side. Here you will be able to enjoy a holiday, and still be close enough to the best restaurants, museums, and everything you need. Here you will be away from crowds, and surrounded by Stockholm's gorgeous nature and still close enough to shops and the city if you feel like venturing in. There is so much to do around our property and I am excited to share all the local and hidden gems with you!

Inside the home we have a fully equipped modern kitchen (Siemens/Gaggenau) including Miele washing machine and dryer and seating area. Bathroom with toilet and beautiful shower. Underfloor heating throughout with individual room settings. Bedroom with study and desk overlooking the water, and closet/drawers.

Sustainability is very important to us so we only use natural materials, organic foods, and biodegradable supplies. Our home is insulated, we have double-glazed windows, and we use energy efficient appliances to save energy. The washing machine you have in the home is front loading and has a good energy efficiency rating. We encourage recycling and provide segregated rubbish bins to minimise waste. Please use the separate rubbish bins under the kitchen sink to ensure we can recycle plastics, papers, glasses, and metals. Our gardens are maintained using non-chemical fertilisers and are pesticide and insecticide free. Not suitable for wheelchairs. Wi-Fi and wired internet included.

Safe and peaceful residential housing area. Lots of nearby walking, running, cycling, swimming and beach access. Also outdoor gym in Hellasgården and by Hammarbybacken (hill). Skiing and skating opportunities in winter.
Mall with cinema, designer shops, cafés and restaurants just a few minutes away (both Sickla Köpkvarter and Nacka Forum). Also lots of organic food in e.g. Paradiset, the Swedish equivalent of Whole Foods. In Sickla köpkvarter there is also indoor climbing, a nice library and exhibitions. Surrounded by nature you will enjoy walks through the woods surrounding our home along the water. Keep a look out for the animals. We have beavers and many other beautiful Swedish native animals in the forest.

We have just installed a floating sauna that you are welcome to rent from us for a discounted price. It is gorgeous in both winter and summer. Contact me for availability and prices.
