Nestled at the base of Sugarloaf with your own private trail leading to a vast network of stunning hikes. This historic old stone building is exotic, romantic, comfortable, spacious and peaceful, on a quiet cul-de-sac. Lay in bed and gaze out your window at Sugarloaf Rock. 850 SQ feet with bedroom, loft with steep ladder and queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Full kitchen and bath, TV, washer,dryer, outdoor seating with amazing views, all your needs are met for a comfortable relaxing stay.

The space
The guest house is an old historic stone building and has been known to creak and groan with the wind & changes in temperature.
High ceiling in the main area with concrete floors.
Full size fridge and stove/oven. Microwave, coffee pot, french press, blender, toaster are provided for use.
Heating and cooling are central and space heaters and fans are provided for extra personal comfort.
Sleeping spaces include 1 full bed in the loft, 1 queen in the bedroom and 1 queen sleeper sofa. Loft is up a very steep ladder and has a low roof.
TV uses Amazon fire stick and is not connected to cable.
Wifi is strong and is frequently used by guests for working while here.
Laundry is shared with another space and housekeeping so is available between 3-9pm and 9-11am.
We are an eco and allergy friendly household. We do not allow animals on the property (including service animals), encourage preserving lighting, cooling and heat. We offer recycling and use cloth rags and napkins vs. paper towels.

Guest access
Parking is right in front of the casita at the end of a cul-de-sac. Three houses park in a similar area so pull right up to the casita.

We offer luggage drop off & early check in. No late checkouts otherwise fees apply.

Neighborhood highlights

Our home is in West Sedona, my favorite area in our sweet town. West Sedona is where the movie theaters are as well as shopping, hiking, galleries and restaurants.
We have Harkins 6 and the Mary Fisher Sedona International Film Festival theater, all within walking distance where almost every night you can view a conscious movie or documentary.
Also in West Sedona, you will find grocery stores, Bashas (2 minutes), Safeway (4 minutes) natural grocers and Whole foods (5 minutes), restaurants, shopping and best of all, one of Sedona's best hiking trails out your front door. This trail is also great for mountain biking, bird watching, with Wildflowers in May as my favorite season.
