What we offer here is PRIVACY. That's the special thing about this offer. The room, plus its own bathroom, is practically an independent unit in a bigger flat.
And now, the information:
A modern, very private and comfortable room in a big flat, where I live with my son (20 years old). The room is about 12sq meters and has a double bed (plus a private bathroom, not to be shared with anybody). Also a desk and a couch which can be used as a second bed. The apartment is on the 4th floor (elevator) in the very heart of Berlin, a 5 mins. walk from Alexanderplatz. The flat has a big guestroom with TV (free to use, of course), a modern kitchen, two bathrooms, a winter garden and a balcony. The kitchen has everything you need (including a coffee machine).
You have free WiFi internet and can also use the kitchen, washing machine, TV-set. As already said, the building does have an elevator.
Interaction with Guests
I usually leave people decide on their own how much communication they wish. Some want more, some less...
The apartment is right in front of one of the best parks in Berlin (attention, jogging friends!), close to everything. Best area in Berlin! Step outside the door and will find plenty of cool bars and restaurants right at your hand. Tram and bus stations practically in front of the door, subway approximately 5 mins. away (Alexanderplatz or Greifswalder Str.).
The area is very safe, very cultivated.
Directions for reaching the place:
1. From Tegel-airport: please take the bus called “TXL” to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), then get off, cross the building of the station, take bus 142 (which starts there), get off at the stop “Am Friedrihshain”, then turn back, walk to the street crossing and look for the restaurant called “Fontana di Tavola”. I am up above it, in the fourth floor (please ring at the bell saying “Enev/Westphal”.)
2. From Schönefeld-Airport: please take any city-train to Alexanderplatz, get down to the street level, take trams nr. 2, 3 or 4 (direction Falkenberg), get off at the stop “Am Friedrichshain”, cross the Greifswalder street, enter the Am Friedrichshain, look for the restaurant, etc.

Sehr schnelles Internet vorhanden.
Had a great time in Berlin. Zlatko was friendly and very welcoming. Thanks a lot for having me. Good luck with the writing.
Clean room with your own bathroom in the centre of Berlin, 5 min from Alexanderplatz. Public transport is outside the door. Zlatko and his son are also very friendly and make you feel at home. Recommend
The room is very comfortable and quiet，and the transportation is convenient.
Zlatko is a fine host, making me feel comfortable immediately upon opening the door to his lovely, sunny apartment. The clean little room with it's own bath is quiet and private, a bit away from the host's family area. He knows Berlin well and is very helpful with tourist and transport advice and information. This is helpful because his neighborhood is a little off the beaten track, near a beautiful tree filled park.
A nice place to stay along good connections! Good choice for a calm traveler.
Very warm, helpful host. Room was cozy and nice, pretty big. Nice kitchen, and private bathroom(i especially liked it). Trully recommend this room and a host!
I am a Bulgarian writer, bookdesigner and internet-activist, who moved to Germany some twenty years ago. You probably won't be surprised to learn that I spend most of my time in front of the computer, reading, writing and talking to people. 50 years old, living on my own with the two kids – great kids!, by the way. My daughter is an autist and the sweetest human being I've ever experienced. My son is a head above me, literally, and a very intelligent, very curious and open young man. As for me... you better try and read a bit of my writings (just do a fast Web-search under "ghostforest", that's my children's books; the other bunch is available only in Bulgarian).
Do I need to tell you that I consider myself a warm, open and generally friendly person? Most of us do, so I won't waste your time. Just read a bit of what I've written, folks. Let the music do the talking!
Looking forward to meeting you!
