The Larkspur Cabins are two rental homes in a duplex chalet (East&West) that can be rented either individually or together. Both sides were just remodeled and have 3 Queen bedrooms and a loft that sleeps 2. Parking, Webber grill and shared hot tub.
While the home is a true log cabin, the interior has been completely remodeled and has all the modern conveniences you'll need to enjoy your stay in Vail. 6-7 guests can comfortably sleep, cook and relax in this peaceful mountain home that is located close to town, skiing and nightlife but yet far enough away that you can relax in our quiet neighborhood and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings.
Guests will have access to parking for up to three cars. There is also a hot tub that is shared with the cabin next door. 24 hour access via exterior lock box.
We live near by and can help guests with planning trips or outings during their stay. We know all the local secrets that make a stay in Vail special!
We are in a quiet residential neihborhood but only one mile from all the grocery stores and sereral restaurants and Bars.
We are located 200 feet from the free Town of Vail bus which runs every 20 minutes from 6am to 2am
For larger groups we have three other houses on the same street that sleep a total of 32 guests. Please check out our other listings; Larkspur Cabin East and Larkspur Lodge. Parking for 3 cars only. Park on right side of driveway.
You will absolutely love your experience in West Vail at either Larkspur location! Throughout the entire process, Andy provided immediate response to any questions, comments or concerns. Upon our arrival, the condo was gorgeous as advertised (i.e. granite counter-tops, 4 luxurious beds, and a newly renovated kitchen to save a buck or two).
The hot tub, which provided isolation and privacy from other homes, was utilized each of our four night stay as a relaxer from long days of skiing. We used the Vail shuttle almost every day which is about a 4 minute walk from the house. This was decided upon because the price of parking in Vail is foolish ($40+ for the day). In the evening, we returned back to Vail Village and Lion's Head for a few beers or to cruise the town. Parking is free from 3 PM to 3 AM.
Be sure to briefly review the book that Andy has provided for his clients for recommendations with rentals, restaurants, etc. We saved 20% using Pepi's to rent our skis and enjoyed several restaurant recommendations. Finally, be sure to book lift tickets on-line at least 7 days in advance in order to save about 40% on lift tickets or choose to buy a season pass depending on the longevity of your stay.
Awesome experience, phenomenal skiing and beautiful lodging. Our group of seven plans to return next season!
All around terrific stay. Cabin is as advertised: Impeccable shape and very comfortable. We came to ski and it was very easy to get around, car or no car, even if we were surrounded by snow. Andrew was responsive and attentive to our needs. My friends and I would absolutely stay at this fine cabin again.
The house is amazing and Andrew is a perfect host! The house is newly renovated and is equipped with new appliances, classy furniture, and very comfortable beds. It's less than five minutes from the ski bus stop and only a 5 minute car ride from the supermarket. Andy made our stay great by being super responsive and helpful. We would come back to this place for our next stay in Vail.
This place was a great value for the money and Andrew is super easy and responsive to work with. Our family would stay here again.
