Interaction with Guests
I will meet the guests at the address upon arrival and provide information on how to use the flat and visit the city.
While Penha de França is mostly a residential neighbourhood, it is sufficiently central to walk to historic, downtown Lisbon. Due to its hilltop location, guests can easily reach at least 2-3 viewpoints by foot, where they can relax and enjoy the spectacular panoramic views that the city is famous for. In addition, most commerce and shops are at walking distance.

Merci!
A nossa estadia no apartamento correu muitíssimo bem.
Bref a recommander.
Adequate and well equiped housing (we were with the four), conveniently situated close to (literally) downside Lisbon, with nice view overlooking part of it. Francisco is a very friendly and helpfull host. Good place!
Francisco was ever helpful whenever we made some slight request for extra time or early pick-up. The apartment was well placed for buses and close to the airport. Beautiful views, especially early morning and late evening for spectacular sunsets. The apartment was well equipped.
The apartment is spacious and has everything needed to be comfortable.
Francisco was very responsive when I had trouble with the front door key, and it was solved immediately.
Thanks for being able to accommodate me at very short notice!

About the Host, Francisco
I am a designer and live between Portugal and the UK.
I love larges cities and dislike making plans - Lisbon best enjoyed when you are prepared to occasionally change course.
Open from 08:30 to 21:00, Lidl is only 2 minutes away the flat. Couldn't be more convenient!
Main thoroughfare connecting Paiva Couceiro to Graça - a quiet, mostly residential avenue where you will find several buses connecting you to downtown and the Metro. Several pharmacies. 2 min walk.
Another great viewpoint at the top of Penha de França hill.
Great view towards west Lisbon. 7 min walk.
Paiva Couceiro is a leafy suqte normally populated by happy old men playing chess. Surrounded by restaurants, cafes and shops, it is ideal to flag a Taxi. 5 min walk
Located at only 5 minutes walking distance from the flat, there is a wonderful 'miradouro' within a tiny park - a viewpoint and cafe offering spectacular views of Lisbon and shading from the sun!
Tram 28 is the vintage yellow tram that goes through all over the city center, crossing many touristic attractions, while navigating along winding and very narrow streets to town up at sea level. Fun!
Arroios Metro Station; connects to Baixa/Chiado.
Lisbon Metro runs until 1AM daily. 12 min walk.
Known for attracting intellectuals during the 70s- 80s, it now hosts nights of poetry/music, and a menu of tapas, teas and cocktails, in a retro space of antique pieces and old records. 15 min walk.
At the foot of Calçada do Monte you will find a lovely little called Cafe do Monte cafe that serves great brunches. Only 5 years old, it is already a Graça classic. 10 min walk.
Leafy, shaded square, ideal for snacks/drinks al fresco while admiring views of downtown and S George's castle. The terraced cafe is highly recommended - stays open well into the night. 15 min walk.
Lisbon's most famous flea market opens twice a week, every Tuesday and Saturday. It's absolutely unmissable, either for its location or for the wares on sale. 15 min walk
The Voz do Operário bar is open Monday to Saturday - Mon to Wed until midnight, Thu to Sat until 2am. It hosts live music every Saturday at 10pm. The wonderful building is worth a visit. 15 min walk.
