Interaction with Guests
Friendly and adventurous, Megan and Suzanne are excited to make your stay one to remember. We live upstairs, so we're close at hand, and can always be counted on to give a restaurant recommendation or do our best (although we are slightly directionally impaired) to get you to the places you want to go. That said, we're sensitive to those wanting privacy. We're flexible and go with the flow. We are LGBT friendly and enjoy all types of people from all walks of life.
Our neighborhood is safe, central and close to everything, and within walking distance of popular 9th and 9th district.
We are close to bus routes and are within walking distance of many restaurants, parks, and sites.
We don't allow pets or smoking in the house.
Suzanne's home was delightful. Exactly as advertised, and comfortable. Slept so well, and had a fabulous stay in Salt Lake City. Definitely take the time to explore the neighborhood. If I were to stay there again I would bring my bikes as there are plenty of bike lanes, and a lot to see close by.
Check in was so very easy and I got there a little early and met Suzanne and she was really nice in explaining everything and suggesting great places to eat for dinner (mezzo is a must visit place to eat and its a 5 min walk from the apartment). The apartment was breathtaking, so beautiful. The bathroom shower is a DREAM!! everything was comfortable and clean, so much better then a standard hotel. Oh and the back patio area is beautiful too.
parking is a little tight in the neighborhood but just something to be aware of incase you have a big vehicle. I bumped the neighbors fence as I backed out, didn't break anything but did meet the neighbor who is also very nice. Probably backing into the spot is the best course of action.
I am so please with my stay here and would defiantly stay here again!
The apartment is really nicely renovated. Great bathroom, comfortable living room, functional kitchen, and a peaceful bedroom. We enjoyed the proximity to Smith's supermarket, Liberty Park, and 9th & 9th. Whole Foods is even walkable, about 15 minutes away. The host is welcoming without being intrusive. We would highly recommend this apartment.
We didn't have a chance to meet Suzanne as our schedule was pretty busy. The place was perfect, true to the pictures. I was a little concerned about a basement apartment, but it had a lot of light and with the temperatures outside in the 80's during our stay, being in a basement apartment with concrete floors was nice and cool. Good parking off the street. The bed was very comfortable. Nice, complete kitchen. The location was perfect, close to the University where we went to see an outdoor concert. She also gave us a recommendation for a local Lebanese restaurant, Mazza, that was only about two blocks away, and was fantastic.
About the Host, Suzanne
Hi everyone! I'm passionate about people, being a great Mom, and juicing life. My partner Megan and I love to travel. When we found AirBnB we were thrilled. Not only could we experience a new city but we could get a taste of local flavor too by meeting the people who lived there. When we bought our home together this year, we were excited to have a space to accommodate our own guests. We're excited for the world to come to us now and can't wait to see who shows up at our door.
