About this listing
Hallo!
I am renting out my 38 qm room in a big appartment with my 3 very lovely roomates. I travel a lot for work, and would love for someone to enjoy our place like I do when I am here. Since the room is so big and has an extra sleeping couch as well as a bed, it is absolutely possible for or 3 people to stay there for short term.
The appartment has 140qm, a big kitchen, a balcony to the backyard, a separate bathroom and a bathtub.
We all are between 30 and 45 years old (a music agent, a physics student, and a setdesign-assistant at the Munich State Theatre), 2 guys, one girl.
Since I am away a lot, they are most hospitable :-)
We have highspeed internet and a landline, plus a cleaning lady once a week.
The room is 50 € (25 € extra for a second person) a night and, if you look at the map, right in the center of Munich, next to the Marienplatz, and Gärtnerplatz, plus the Isar is only a 7 min walk away, too. The roomates are working a lot, but someone is usually there, and they all speak english. It´s a great place to be!
Kitchen, balcony, shower and bathroom. To be shared with my roomates, of course.
Just behave like you would in your home. Clean up after yourself. Be kind to the other inhabitants. No excessive drinking please.
Otherwise, just have a good time!
Talia was a great host (although we hardly saw her ;-))
Talia was our "Siri" navigating us by phone t her front door on arrival and checking in regularly.
Her room is just like the photos, very big and lots of room to spread out. The table doubled in size so we could both work in our Munich "office".
The location is fantastic - near to Marienplatz, Gartenplatz, trams the U and the S. Lots of great cafes, bars and restaurants nearby.
Also walkable to virtually anywhere in central Munich including the English Gardens.
Our stay with Talia was amazing! First off, the room really is huge which made it feel like we had our own little space. In terms of location, I can't imagine a better spot. Within walking distance to most things we wanted to see. As for Talia, she is a super sweet host and made sure everything was taken care of. I was sick for my first day in Munich, and she went out of her way to make sure I was feeling better. This listing is really a great find!
Staying at Talia's place was one of the best experiences we had on our trip to Munich. The room is very spacious and was quite comfortable. I cannot say enough about the location of the apartment. It is very central to the city, walking distance from Marienplatz, the residence, Isar river, Gartnerplatz and English gardens. I couldnt ask for a better located place in Munich as a tourist. Plenty of nice restaurants and biergartens around as well.
All of Talia's room mates Peter, Andreas and Sophie were very nice and accommodating and great to talk to. This is the kind of experience I want when I visit any new city. The apartment is located right by a major street and there is a tram that runs on the street so commuting was easy. It is possible that the street may get noisy sometimes but we are not light sleepers so it didn't bother us.
All in all highly recommended! I will definitely stay here if I visit Munich again.
I have stayed in Talia's room several times before and it was great as always.
The reservation was canceled 14 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We had an amazing time in Munich for Frühlingsfest! The apartment was so nice and cozy. Talia's friends Peter and Christina were so friendly and welcoming as well. It was in a great location with a big room. I highly recommend it!
Although I didn't met Talia in person, their flatmates made me feel welcomed. The place is conveniently located walking distance to Marienplatz, so central... and is huge! great stay
