Modern Williamsburg, Balcony & View

Apartment - Private room · Meeker Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11211, United States

This sunny Williamsburg apartment sits 9 floors above Brookyn's most rapidly-evolving and exciting neighborhood. Enjoy panoramic views of Manhattan from the roof deck and Brooklyn views from the private balcony. All two blocks from subway!

The Space

The elevator building is fairly new and conveniently located to Manhattan and all that is fun in Williamsburg. Feel free to use the kitchen and common areas, including a 24hr Laundry room.
Wireless internet, clean towels and sheets are included. The brand new bathroom is shared. Need a hair dryer? Forgot shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.? I got you covered.

This is truly New York living at its best in one of the most diverse and dynamic neighborhoods in the world.

Guest Access

Private room, living room, bathroom, kitchen, balcony. Pretty much everything except my room.

Interaction with Guests

I work during the day, so you have the apartment pretty much to yourself during the week. However I am just a text/phone call away for questions etc.

I encourage guests to get out and experience the city and neighborhood. It's close to Union Square and all kinds of amenities, shopping, food, restaurants, so there is plenty to see.

The Neighborhood

This location is the ideal spot to get a rich NYC experience. It's the second stop in Brooklyn on the L train, and within minutes you can be in either the East Village, Union Square, or Meatpacking District. There's also a ferry that'll take you to Manhattan via the East River, just a few minutes by foot from the place.

Getting around

Conveniently located near the Lorimer Street Subway stop, 5min from Manhattan. Also, Buses, Taxi cabs & Boat Ferry (to Manhattan) all in walking distance.

Other Things to Note

Being a new-be with Airbnb, I do not charge a cleaning fee, nor do I require a deposit at this time.

Hope to see you here!

  • Harold is such an awesome host! He really cares, and tends to detail. The place looks/feels like it is made to greet guests. Bed is like a cloud,YUM! so convenient. I'd stay there again! thanks Harold!

  • Superclean and nice new flat and very friendly host.

    March 2014
  • Harold and his apartment are amazing! The apartment is brand new, nicely decorated in neutral (and manly) colours and extremely clean. Harold is a delightful host who is really chilled. He gave us some tips on the area and was very friendly but also left us to our own devices.

The area of Williamsburg is buzzing and vibrant, only a few metro stops from central Manhattan but there is also plenty to do locally. Altogether, highly recommended.

  • Simply perfect! I would like to join the previous guests in being crazy about Harold, his apartment, and the neighborhood.

  • Harold was an amazing host. He made sure we arrived safely and as soon as we arrived he was very welcoming. He even invited us to a new years eve party and it was awesome. He's a very thoughtful host and offered way more than he needed to but thats the kind of guy he is. He was cool to hang out with and gave us privacy. My girlfriend and I are very pleased with our choice to stay with Harold he lives in a great neighborhood. Its young its hip and its in the middle of all the major locations. Harolds apartment was very clean and cozy. Its spacious enough to where you have your privacy and he doesnt mind you using his utilities. Best stay of airbnb so far.

  • This was my first airbnb stay, and I am so glad I chose Harold's place for my inaugural use of this great service. Everything, from booking to checking was was seamless. Herold was a great host. Nice, welcoming, smiley and most importantly he seemed very happy to host me in his place. The apartment itself is brand new and spotless clean. From the living room/kitchen to the bathroom and bedroom. The bed was super comfy and the sheets were soft and nice. Harold gave me some great tips about where to go in Williamsburg and his place is 3-4 min to the subway and is short cab ride to/from Lower Manhattan. Overall, it was a wonderful way to begin my airbnb experience and I would most definitely come back on my next visit to the city. Highly recommended!

  • With its hardwood floors, exposed brick, and a killer balcony, Harold's apartment is absolutely PERFECT. Spent the weekend in Brooklyn with my lady friend, and we were delighted to have scored such a prime spot (right off of the Lorimer L!) with such a gracious host. I cannot say enough good things about this guy or his apartment. I will definitely be back!
