Historical Building on the SEINE river in the Most Wanted part of Paris. Cute, very calm hidden place overlooking PARIS ROOFTOPS walking distance to the EIFFEL TOWER in the heart of the capital and AVENUE MONTAIGNE FASHION district (Walking distance to designer shows). Easy shuttle and Metro RER connection to CDG AIRPORT. Very close to most museums and most prestigious parts of Paris.
My rooftop studio is situated in the heart of the Posh Paris across from the Seine River, on the top floor of an upscale building with an elevator. The main entrance to the building has two security systems protected by a secret code and a keypad access.
The studio is luminous, it has an unobstructed open view over Paris rooftops which allows total privacy and quietness (A rare thing in Paris)
Next to Rue Saint Dominique, well-known for its great & safe atmosphere, many shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets … without forgetting the famous Rue Clerc and its open-air fresh food market.
The 7th district part on the Seine River banks is a most wanted area. When leaving the building, you are on the Seine river banks next to Champ de Mars facing the Eiffel tower and close to many major sightseeings (walking distance):
- Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées (8 minutes)
- Avenue Montaigne, fashion district (across the bridge)
- Louvre Museum (10 minutes by boat)
- Grand Palais (15 minutes)
- Invalides (10 minutes)
- Musée Rodin (5 minutes)
- Montparnasse (20 minutes by bus)
- Saint Germain (10 minutes by bus or boat)
- Musée D'Orsay (15 minutes)
- Musée des Arts Premiers (Across the street)
- French National Assembly (15 minutes)
- Ecole Militaire (8 minutes)
- Opera (20 minutes by bus)
- 5 minutes walk from the subway/metro.
- 1 minute walk to the train RER C line direct to Chateau de Versailles and Saint Michel
- Across the boulevard are several bus stops lines crossing Paris (Montmartre, Montparnasse, Louvre, Saint Germain...)
- A service of boats going up and down the Seine river (Batobus) is 2 minutes away.
- A taxi station is next to the building.
- A self-serve rental bike station (bike-sharing in Paris), is across the street.
The bright and quiet room offers all comfort, with a Real Queen size bed, a living space, flat screen TV, wifi Internet connection… (see Details and description list in the GUEST part). The kitchen area is well equipped and the separate bathroom and toilet is very functional.

What a wonderful stay in Paris. Henri is an excellent host. He is incredibly attentive and respectful, checking in several times during my stay. He was always available to answer questions. I met his wife when I arrived with no problems who was happy to show me around the apt and offer café suggestions.
The apt itself is very charming. Perfect for a couple or lone traveler. Private bathroom and comfortable bedroom with a kitchen. Very clean and equipped with all you might need (cooking supplies, towels, Sat TV, high-speed internet). Plus you cannot beat the neighborhood - the 7th is incredibly central and right near many transportation hubs. Right near the Eiffel Tower and a block from the seine. I enjoyed just walking around to different neighborhoods. Plus Versailles is only a 30 min train ride away (the RER is right around the corner from the apt).
Overall I had an incredible stay! I would highly recommend Henri for his hospitality and great apt!
We stayed at Henri's studio for New Years Eve and were very happy with our arrangements. The building is exceptionally close to the Eiffel Tower and walkable to Champs-Élysées. There are two metro lines (the RER C and M9) nearby, which should take you to all of the popular sight-seeing destinations (if that's on your itinerary). The bed was good, and the kitchen was very useful for us as the immediate neighborhood (and most of Paris) can make it costly to eat out often. I'd definitely recommend Henri's place to any person or couple looking for a great location and value!
Henri was very welcoming and helpful. He responded promptly to all of my emails and texts.
I would recommend his place to anyone needing a flat in Paris.
We stayed at Henri's place in Paris during our couples trip to France for the first time. Henri allowed us to arrive at 12 to meet his housekeeper who was very helpful on getting us to his place and connecting to the WiFi before she left. We really appreciated the access to WiFi since we left a toddler back in the states and did not purchase an international data plan. Overall, I just did not think the studio matched the visuals presented. In the photos, it's very clean and almost looks not lived in but when we got there it was evident that someone had just left as there were half used water bottles around, mail cluttering the tables and shopping bags placed all around. The pillows were incredibly soft and almost served no purpose. Also, I got the impression from the photos that the window had a eiffel tower view and it does not. In all - nothing that would take too much away from the experience, it was just a bit of an uneasy feeling that we came all that way and the room was not as presented. Other that the visual aspect, everything worked great. There is a grocery store one block away, a heater that works quick and the check-out process was very easy!
The check in is normally 2PM. Since you insisted, my housekeeper let you in early (12 noon). The room was still not ready when you arrived after the previous guest who just left. (Cleaning time takes 2 hours from 12 to 2 PM). Therefore I don't think it's appropriate for you to say that it was "cluttered".
As for the Eiffel Tower view, it is a side view from the window as shown on the photos, which by the way were made by the official AIRBNB photograph.
I stayed six nights at Henri's studio in Paris. The location could not be better. Although I did not meet Henri personally, his housekeeper was very helpful and courteous. Henri was quite flexible as to my time of arrival and departure -- which was very helpful and appreciated.
All the kitchen appliances and utensils were spotless clean. Although the studio is rather small, it has all the requirements and it was quite adequate as I was traveling by myself.
Our 2nd stay in Henri's apartment and was better than the first one. This is definitely our place in Paris. Best spot to stay, with perfect value to quality ratio.
We had a problem with our flight to Paris and Henri helped us to organize our very late checkin with no issues.
We reached to him and he responded instantly, so he saved us.
Thanks! Hope we get back to Paris soon, and to your studio!
I had a really great stay in Henri's apartment. It is in a safe, pretty part of Paris, just a stroll away from the Eiffel Tower, museums, shops and the river Seine. The apartment itself was clean, welcoming and even had a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower! The bathroom and cooking facilities were good, the bed was comfy and Henri's caretaker, Alina, was very helpful and friendly when I arrived. I was in Paris for work, so I didn't really spend much time in the apartment, but I can totally recommend it as a cozy, well-located place to return to after a day working or looking round the beautiful city that is Paris.
Henri was a very efficient guest. Our comunication was very easy and fast and I have no problems at all. The apartment is exactly how it is described. It is perfect for a solo traveller, like I was. Small, but very central: one block apart from Pont de L'Alma station and 5 minutes walking to Eiffel Tour. If you ride a Velib bike, you can reach Musée Orsay in few minutes also. The elevator leads you to the 4th flour and there is one more flour to reach by stairs. It is not a big deal, really, but people with mobility problems should be aware. The internet was great, the bed is confortable and everything was clean when I arrived. I totally recomend the place.
The apartment may be small for two people, but it was all we expected, plus it's perfectly located. Walking distance from the Eiffel tower, has a nearby supermarket, boulangeries and other useful stores, and perfect access to public transportation and the Paris bike system too.
Henri has been very helpful, and even though he was not there to receive us, he made sure we had everything we needed when we arrived. He even offered us the place for our 2nd stay in Paris for our return flight, making an exception to the minimum stay policy.
This is our place in Paris.
What you see is what u get. Henri is a responsible host who will not hesitate to answer your queries. This neighborhood is quite safe and within walking distance to both RER and the metro. The other good thing is that you will be able to reach Eiffel which is just 8 mins away on foot. Henri's personal guide to the area also allows you to easily explore the surrounding areas. Although its a small apartment, but the basic amenities are all there.
