2 friends and I stayed here on a girls weekend while visiting a friend who lived in the same neighborhood. The house was just as described and very spacious for us. Perfect for our stay--our local friend is wishing she'd known about this ages ago for other visitors!
The house was terrific - clean, comfortable, spacious. Ginger was very easy to communicate with. Thanks for a great stay! --Kate and Brian and Caryn
Had a great time at Ginger's house in Cincinnati. It was a really nice place - just as Ginger described it - and it was within walking distance to Hyde Park Square. Also very close to Whole Foods and Mt Lookout Square. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Cincinnati. Hope to stay here again next year!
Ginger has a terrific house to rent in one of the great neighborhood communities of Cincinnati. It is a block from Hyde Park Square with many restaurant and store choices.
Her home is clean, well appointed and the kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are also excellent. If you have questions, Ginger responds very quickly.
We rented for a week at the end of August and plan to rent again next summer (and likely for a longer time period!)
Ginger is the perfect host. Her lovely home is beautifully remodeled and every possible guest need is anticipated. The beds were new and very comfortable with pretty linens. The large walk-in shower has a rainfall head - so relaxing! WiFi worked great and the kitchen had anything you needed to make and serve your meals. We enjoyed walking to Hyde Park to the wine shop, nice restaurants, and Graeter's ice cream parlor. The side patio was a lovely place to read a book and sit in the sun on a beautiful spring day. We will definitely make the Hyde Park Dutch our home away from home when we come back to Cincinnati!
Four of us arrived on 15th April from England and stayed until the 20th. The house was spotless, warm and very welcoming. The beds were extremely comfortable, even though we couldn't use the feather comforters or pillows due to feather allergies. Downstairs everything was fine with a couple of small exceptions. None of us could get our laptops to log-in to the wireless internet, although wired was OK. I think it was an incompatibility issue between our machines and the router. The other problem, which only we English would notice, is that there was no kettle to boil water for a nice hot cup of tea!! Problem solved however Ginger, and you now have one of Walmart's finest and cheapest kettles :-)
We've had a lovely time and would recommend Hyde Park Dutch House for your next visit to Cincinnati.

About the Host, Ginger
We grew up in Cincinnati and visit this little house in Hyde Park often. Now we split our time between a log cabin in Idaho, a beach shack in Uruguay, and a cottage with huge porch in Charleston SC. Have a good time and enjoy those around you - every day!
