  • I had a very relaxing time at Jory's place, a very clean smartly furnished studio apartment. The location is great, with easy access to the 1, 2 and 3 subways. When you are here, I highly recommend checking out the Smoke Jazz and Supper Club which is a quick walk from her place.

Jory was very helpful in getting me setup at her place, as well was very flexible when I found my flight was delayed.

  • Jory's place is very comfortable and compact. I liked it from the first moment and would recomend it to everyone, who likes a solitary and quite: in Manhattan.
I felt very supportet, during my visit by Jory and her neighbor. Thanks Ken and Jory for the good time!

    Response from Jory:

Thanks again Tamara. I appreciate you not mentioning anything about the cold, as that is SOOOO unusual and had to do with the deep freeze in the city. Wishing you the best and you are welcome any time.

  • I had a truly wonderful experience at the Riverside Cozy&Cute Studio for One! The location is grand, amazingly convenient to the Upper West Side, yet close to the gorgeous Riverside Park. The building is a delight, with a magnificent facade and a very secure feeling inside. The apartment is just as I had hoped: quiet, serene, and comfortable, meticulously clean and with a pleasant worn-in ambience. Sheets and towels were super fresh, and Jory left very clear instructions in a message and called to make sure I got them. The experience was particularly excellent because it came through at the last minute, and Jory was very responsive and helpful. All in all, I had a superb stay and will hope to return before too long.

  • I stayed four nights at Jory's appartment and it was an overall very good experience. To start with, Jory's place is really well located.

It is in the heart of the Upper West Side, meters away from the riverside park and with plenty of restaurants and shops around. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe, and you are also a short stroll away from Central Park. Finally, you are only five minutes away from the subway. As you can see, you can hardly find a better location.

Regarding the appartment and its facilities, I also enjoyed it very much. The place is small but smartly furnished and comfortable. The bed deserves a special mention, as the mattress was perhaps the best I have slept on in years. The shower works well, even though you will need to wait few minutes for the hot water to arrive. The whole place is very very clean and it's just a pleasure to come back to that charming appartment at the end of the day.

Jory is a very serious and concerned host After an initial small glitch because of an email that never came, she cared very much if I was finally able to access the appartment and kept being disponible, in spite of being in the countryside with little connectivity.

In summary, I highly recommend staying at Jory's appartment. It is now a place where I have fond memories and I am sure that you would too :)

  • Loved staying at Jory's. The place is 3 short blocks to the local 1 train and so peaceful. It's a nice getaway after being in the bustling and crowded city all day long to get away to a good night's sleep and some peace and quiet. I highly recommend it. Jory took me in at the last minute after my other host cancelled. Thanks so much for a great experience, Jory! Will never forget my great week in NY!

  • Jory offered her delightful bedsit. It was comfortable, very quiet and in a beautiful old, quiet neighborhood, close to some lovely places to eat and walk. The arrangements with Jory were straightforward. I would recommend Jory's place if you would are like me, a single women who wishes to enjoy the life of NYC but stay in a safe a quiet neighborhood.

  • Jory was awesome to work with - very straight forward and clear with directions.
Her place was very cute and affordable! A little small but that is typical for a NYC apartment. My only concern was I felt a little uneasy when walking back late on Friday/Saturday night - but I am also new to New York and a female so that factors in.

The apartment is only a few short blocks to the subway station and therefore it is easy to jump on the subway.
I found quite a few good shops in the surrounding blocks and a really good bagel place (Broadway Bagel).

Overall I had a very warm experience and would recommend staying at Jory's flat!

  • Jory's place was in a quiet, safe neighborhood and was ideal for my purposes. I didn't spend much time there during the days, and used it mostly for sleeping. Best value for the dollar in NYC - you can't find another place like it for less! Jory was accommodating to my last minute request, and I would definitely stay there again.

  • Jory's apartment is a small jewel in NYC. It's tucked away on a side street and is a wonderful retreat to come back to at the end of the day.
Jory left clear-cut instructions on everything so it was really convenient. Parking is easily available in the area in case you are driving and the train station is close. I actually got a chance to meet her and she is super friendly and nice. Thanks for sharing your apartment Jory!
