Here is a light, historic home with modern updates right in the heart of Gainesville. A well-cared for 1950s ranch/bungalow with a short walk to a beautiful wooded public park and pool, and a short bike ride to UF campus, Publix, and many restaurants and amenities.

The space
Come stay at this charming and clean house just a five minute drive from UF campus.

House has original hardwood floors throughout and is minimally furnished with mid-century decor, custom built (by me! :)) furniture, and vintage finds. Fully equipped kitchen, great front porch and back patio. Three full bedrooms inside--one with king, one with bunk beds and queen, and another one with queen. Newly built modern tiny house off the back patio with a queen bed and sleeper sofa. Two bathrooms and an outdoor shower. Fenced in backyard.

Walk to nearby Westside park (pool, tennis, basketball, baseball fields, playground, wooded trails), and use the 2 provided bicycles to bike to restaurants, UF campus, Publix, and more.

Driveway and street parking. 20 minute drive to GNV airport, 10 minute drive to Oaks Mall, 10 minute drive to Shands and VA hospitals.

Expect a tranquil resting place in one of Gainesville's best neighborhoods.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions!

Other things to note
**Note on Sleeping Space** This house will sleep 10 people comfortably in beds and bedrooms. To get to 12 people, you will need to also use the queen-sized bean bag floor mattress. To get to 14, you will need to also use the pull out couch in the Tiny House as well as an air mattress I have in the hall closet. All this to say, this house can accommodate 14 people, but it will be tight!

I am a professor at the big university here in town, and my hobbies include playing guitar, building furniture, traveling, running, cheering for the Auburn Tigers, listening to records, redfish and trout fishing, reading, and cooking. I have three beautiful children who occupy most of my time, love, and attention! My goal here is to have created a space that is comfortable and warm to share with folks coming through Gainesville. I look forward to meeting you!
