Town Information: Sliema and the coastline up to neighboring St Julian's constitutes Malta's main coastal resort. It is a centre for shopping, restaurants and cafe's life. Tower Road is its 5Km promenade, full of shops, restaurants, banks, supermarkets, Internet cafes, and day cruise boats. The Sliema promontory offers on one side stunning views across to Valletta and on the other, open sea views. The promenade, which runs for several kilometers from Gzira just south of Sliema to St Julian's, is ideal for walker and joggers. There are plenty of seats along the promenade and on summer evenings the seafront becomes a sociable meeting place for locals. The coastline has two tower fortifications: a De Redin watch tower built in the 17th century; the other was built by the British in neo-gothic style in the 1880s. Nearby Valletta with its historic attractions and corporate importance is also very (website hidden) Julian's and Paceville are Malta's main nightlife areas. Picturesque St Julian's Bay, still used by fishermen, is lined with bougainvillea-clad cafés and restaurants.

L'appart est spacieux, lumineux et bien aménagé. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la vue sur les toits de Sliema car il est au dernier étage. C'est vrai que tout est à proximité: supermarché, pharmacie, boîte à lettre, la Mer et l'arrêt de avec des liaisons plus ou moins directs et assez fréquents pour aller à la Vallette, partir découvrir Malte et même Gozo. Les échanges de mail avec Matt étaient très sympatiques et ses réponses toujours très rapides! on nous a demandé d'écire en françis, je crains que la traduction promise soit automatique et donc ne pas à la hauteur.
The listing description was accurate and the location was ideal in regards to proximity to the seaside, grocery store, and public busses. No need to rent a car in this location. We were welcomed by a woman who gave us a brief run though the home and let us loose. The apartment is modern and spacious, and looks just like it does in the pictures. Make sure to ask about heating if you are going in winter. The heat setting on A/C is not enough to keep the entire place warm and this was difficult for our little ones. I'd also recommend tenants are prepared to buy/bring their own hand soap, toilet paper, etc as it is not provided.
I recomend this apartment especially to families with children: a big space, bright, clean rooms, good equiped kitchen, modern bathrooms: for us it was very comfortable. Good localisation in nice part of Sliema, calm, close to everywhere. The owner and his family very nice, helpful, tactful and trustworthy. Alice

Tha apartment was great, exactly like on the pictures. The location was perfect, close to both Valetta and the nightlife of Paceville. A nice swimming area a few minutes from the apartment and a supermarket just three buildings away. Also, matt helped us with booking a cab that waited for us just outside the apartment right on time! All in all, a great stay!
