The apartment is very well placed in San Telmo and well equipped, with everything you nedd to have a good time. It has also the ideal size for a couple. The person in charge of the keys and everything you need to ask is very kind and helpfull. I had a good time there.

It was not dirty, but not really well cleaned (floor, roof). The main problem is the light. The bedroom's window is in the building corridor, so there's almost no light, and the patio (wich you can see through the kitchen and the living room) is in a "breath area" of the building. That's the only real proble, but its structutal.

Apart that, I recomend the apartment, and if you stay all day off, you won't have problems, because the lack of light only disturbs during the day.

  • We stayed in Vivi's appart. for 4 days. As Vivi was outside in Buenos Aires she has left us the Nayla's phone number (I would suggest to leave also the email because we had some trouble to find a public phone). Nayla was very kind and nice and she explained us a little about the neighborhood.
I must say that the apartment was not so clean, especially the bathtub, it seemed to be uninhabited for so very dusty. The house does't have external windows but only on communal corridor and cavedio so it is very dark.
However, the apartment is in central San Telmo and close to many places of interest, the apartment is also equipped with what is necessary for your stay.

  • I had a really good stay in Vivi's appartment. It is in San Telmo, a beautifull and nice neighbourhood. Everything was working fine, and the communication with both Vivi and Nayla, the manager, was perfect.

Nayla was there when i arrived, gave me the keys and phone number. She was available all week for any questions or whatsoever.

The internet works good and there is a telephone to make local phonecalls (only landlines). Since i came to work, this was really important for me.

The only negative thing is that the neighbours were really noisy. I don't know if they are always like that, or if they were reconstructing their appartment, and therefor making a lot of noise.

Well, apart from that, i can really recommend this appartment!

  • I, too, had issues with her management company. They were supposed to have a car waiting for me when I got off the plane. No one was there, so I had to make my own arrangements to get to the apartment. When, I got there, no one was waiting for me. I had to find a pay phone since I didn't have a world phone and was able to get a hold of her agent. He told me that I took too long to get to the apartment, which was absurd since I was expecting his person to pick me up and he wasn't there. He then goes on to tell me that he's an hour away and that he could give me an address and I can go pick it up. WHAT?! So, I'm supposed to take a cab an hour each way because you couldn't wait another 30 minutes? No, and by some stroke of luck, my cab driver stayed to help me and was able to locate the manager of the apartments (across the street) and he allowed me to wait inside on the stairs. Arcadio finally shows up, in the meantime, I send Vivi a strongly worded email, he shows me around, drops off the keys and some clean sheets and then takes off. I didn't realize that I would be changing my own sheets. Not the same kind of experiences I've had with other AirBNB stays. But OK, whatever. Vivi did call to apologize and I told her that she should fire her management company.

There was no toilet paper, dishwashing soap, sponges, 1 small garbage in the bathroom and only 1 towel. I was not impressed by their attention to detail.

Also, beware the front door. It sticks and can be tough to open/close. The key also fits both ways and will turn slightly even if put in incorrectly. If it's not working, you gotta take it out and reinsert the opposite direction.

All in all, the place was clean and secure. It is walking distance to most of the touristy stuff and especially Calle Defensa which is the heart of San Telmo.

Would I come back? Only if she changed her management company and they prove they're worth it.

    Response from Vivi:

Hi Tino! I am sorry again for the troubles. I just want to let you know that I already made plans for new management. Hope to have you back in the future if you happen to be in BA.
    Thanks again,

  • Vivi's apartment is in a central location, close to many attractions and public transportation. While Vivi, was not there, her team was here to help us. It required communication/organization throughout the stay which was difficult at times.

I've been in touch with Vivi since the reservation and she is aware of this and is actively improving this! Vivi is great and available for advice before/during the reservation.

  • The apartment has a bad smell inside because of no presence of windows looking outside.
Presence of several flying Beatles in the kitchen , toilette was clogged when we arrived , it was repaired after two days. There was just two little towels At our arrival , the person in charge by Vivi gave us more towels the day after. All the windows Were stuck in open position including the bedroom window.the apartment cleaning was not done also after our request to (website hidden) Sheets and towels change ,.
Good location in San telmo, Quiet .

  • Vivi has a lovely modern apartment that is well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space and storage. It is in a great location in the heart of San Telmo and very convinient for the metro and bus. Plus there is a great parilla opposite the apartment that does amazing steaks....always a bonus...

We did not meet Vivi but she was very quick to respond by email to ensure that we had everything we needed for our stay, thanks a lot Vivi.

  • The apartment is in a great location, clean, we were stuck in the airport for a while, but, there was someone still waiting for us a couple hours later, amazing. Check in and out without incident. And right across the street is one of the best parrillas in town (mostly locals eat there). A great experience. We would stay there again!

  • Vivi was an extremely responsive and thoughtful host, generously answering my questions and directing me towards resources. Her team in Buenos Aires was absolutely professional and exceeded my expectations throughout my three week stay. The apartment is centrally located in historical San Telmo, near restaurants, grocery stores, cafes, and very close to the San Juan subte stop. It is a pleasant walk to Porto Madero, the Reserva, Parque Lezama and the center of town. The apartment has ample space and is simply and comfortably furnished with all the needs for a short visit or an extended stay. The wifi is excellent and the shower is fantastic (this really mattered to me after a long day in the city). I would gladly stay here again if I am lucky enough to return to Buenos Aires.
