The “Casita Rosa” is a little house made of adobe, placed only two blocks away from Acapulco’s downtown. It’s perfect and confortable for a couple nights of stay. With the main street (Costera Miguel Alemán) and the main bus stop at only few blocks away, you can move easily in Acapulco. It’s located in a traditional, but safe neighborhood. Air conditioning and main amenities.

The space
The house is painted in Mexican colors, and furnished with new three double beds, a small living room with confortable “silla acapulco”, and a kitchen with microwave oven, electric stove and refrigerator.

Currently I occupy the space from Monday to Thursday, so it is available for rent on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I would leave some of my personal things, but half the closet will be available, and at least half of the space in the refrigerator.

Due to the problems of water supply in the city, it is common for the water to run out in the area (2 or 3 days a week usually). I have a small water tank that I always keep full. If you are unlucky and during your stay there is no water, the stored water is enough for about 3 people for 2 or 3 nights (taking care of it). The bad thing is that you would have to use buckets to bathe and pour it into the toilet.

Other things to note
Due to the high costs of electricity and in order to care for the environment, electricity is limited to 15 kwt per night reserved, which covers the cost of the house and the air conditioners at night. If you decide to use the air conditioner during the day, the electricity consumption will probably be exceeded and the surplus will be charged at $ 1.50 pesos per kilowatt.

Upon arrival and departure, the meter will be read, and the extra will be charged if you exceed.

Location

Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico

El barrio es de los más antiguos de Acapulco, llamado El Teconche, pegado a otros igual de viejos: Guinea y Pozo de la Nación. Es un barrio seguro.
