Anjali made us feel very welcome and was very gracious about accommodating our unusual check-in and check-out situation. The house was clean and comfortable. We didn't really use the kitchen but could have. It appeared fully stocked. There was parking on the street but since the house is close to several restaurants and bars we sometimes had to park a few blocks away. Public transportation is just a few blocks away so we didn't really need to even move the car.

I have such a great time hosting people from all over the world. It's like traveling while staying at home!

What's important to me as a host is that people get the most out of their stay here. Having lived here quite awhile, I am a font of info in a wide array of interests.

I love it when people feel at-home, playful and relaxed. And to see it in action, what more could a host want? For example, a guest wrote in chalk on the sidewalk in front of the house a little road map to my house and pointed to house "Paradise" How fun is that?

As a nano-bio,I am an artist, performer, RN-PhD, investor, entrepreneur, published author, host. mother, and GRAND mother. I love life and love creative expression.

Currently, my focus is upon multi-month leases, though short term stays are also graciously invited!

My property, "Mississippi Fun District", is great place to be in Portland with eats, treats and beats right around the corner. Home is secluded, yet in the middle of it all. Easy to zip around town via walk, bike, bus, light-rail, car.

My rentals are in a duplex, therefore in same building. Same address. When I am not traveling, I spend much of my time in the sunroom attached to the back end of the house and in the art studio at the back end of the property.

My raised beds grow food year around. I am part of collective that share crops. 50% of produce is shared with volunteers and a local Soup Kitchen. You may meet volunteer gardeners and pick up some gardening tips for your own garden!

I look forward to your stay here for your future travel plans to Portland!

Enjoy!
