In the heart of the student and tech center of Beijing, our new flat is a cozy home-base perfect for anyone studying or working in Beijing. Enjoy a fully furnished flat with an Xbox 360, an awesome roomie, local cafes and restaurants and nearby bus and subway stops.
Most apartments in Wudaokou are old, cramped and quite expensive. Hanting is one of the newest developments in the area, and the buildings are only 4 years old.
The rooms have huge windows, which give out a lot of natural light. The couch is comfy and the bed is huge :D Plus, we have an Xbox 360 with a bunch of games that is absolutely free to use.
Our apartment is nearby the subway station and bus stops. Downstairs are two 24-hour shops, an Italian restaurant, 2 Chinese restaurants and of course, dumplings! The apartment is right next to the Forestry University and only a few minutes walk to BLCU.
Absolutely everything. Feel free to use the apartment and all the facilities as much as you like. Dutch coffee, Chinese tea, Xbox 360, TV, Hot Shower, WIFI, etc.
I will be in Thailand, but my roomie, Max, will be around for chilling. He's a director at a tech company in Beijing, but he's 24, lots of fun and makes a good morning coffee.
Expect to spend weekends getting brunch, going to bars or parties, meeting lots of cool people and in general chilling out around Beijing.
Max works monday to friday, but is usually home in the evenings for dinner, playing games and chatting.
There are a bunch of universities, shops and restaurants nearby. A 5-10 minutes walk will bring you to a Chinese clothing market, a massive shopping mall with a great cinema, and local restaurants including Hot Pot, Guizhou specialties, Italian, food courts and more.
There are two supermarkets nearby, and an especially large one at the shopping mall with everything you might need.
The subway stop is a 15 minute walk away, as are all the bars in Wudaokou. With a bike, it'll take 5 minutes.
Buses, taxis and subway is all nearby. Taxis are especially cheap in Beijing, and the subway will get you anywhere you need to go in Beijing.
We are really social people. Max likes to hang out, have dinner together and get drinks on the weekend. But of course, if you prefer to do things on your own, he won't push you to join him :)
