Our small 2BR/1B home is cozy and laid-back surrounded by 1.5 acres of yard, gardens and a shop/brewery. The room is quiet with a comfortable full-sized bed. Shared living space/bathroom welcomes you with hardwood floors, a funky kitchen and wood burning stove. When in season, enjoy our gardens full of vegetables and fresh fruit. The yard is fully fenced for your 4-legged traveling companions.
Guests will have access to the private bedroom, shared bathroom, kitchen and living/dining room. We love to share a home cooked meal and any of Nat's beers. We have WiFi, but no cable. Please let us know if you have any special itinerary items or food allergies.
Interaction with Guests
We will greet you at the gate when you check-in and give you a quick introduction to our property. If you want privacy during the evenings please ask prior to arrival. We enjoy moderate to high interactions with guests, and love share beer and food! We both work full time and lead busy lives, so we will do our best to let you know our schedule during your stay. Breakfast is served at 7:30 on weekdays, and usually at 10 on weekends. Most nights we cook dinner at home. Expect lots of interaction with our dogs who will do their best to become part of your pack.
Midland is where the lots get bigger and the stars become more visible. Our surrounding neighborhood is dark at night, safe and feels fairly rural despite being in the middle of East Tacoma. Please expect a bit of a drive to get anywhere "Downtown", however there are a few amazing restaurants and shops close by if you are interested (please refer to our guidebook).
Expect a 45 minute drive from SEATAC. 15 minutes or less to downtown, PLU, UPS, the Tacoma Dome or Puyallup. Ample parking is included. If looking for public transit, there is bus access at the corner of our street with a park and ride 3 blocks away. Ask directions for how to get around, as getting to and from here can be complicated if you don't know the back-road shortcuts.
Other Things to Note

If anything doesn't meet your expectations, tell us right away so we can address the issue and make it right!
