Siivooja oli mökillä vastaanottamassa meitä sovittuun aikaan. Loistavalla sijannilla oleva mökki, johon mahtui 9 henkilöä majoittumaan. Suosittelen!
The house of Oystein is a cosy and beautiful place. We had a great time. Everything needed is available.
While we stayed there, it snowed a lot. But the friendly staff from the road service made sure that the road is fit for traffic all time and even made space for parking.
There is a lot to do even during bad weather. But what ever weather you have: Don't forget to go dog-sledding with Thomas ((website hidden))
Bring a yellow safety jacket with you if you plan to go out by night (you will!) to make sure the cars see you.
I hope to come back soon.
It was a really great stay. The house has plenty of room, a TV, a nice kitchen and a big table to prepare the food. There was even Food left in the fridge, which we can use.
The house is in a realy nice spot surrounded by wonderful mountains. I can recommend it for everyone, wo wants to spend a few days in a really nice spot away from the trouble of normal live.
Oystein's place is awesome. It's in a nice area in the countryside, next to a river. It's a beautiful spot to catch the northern lights from, and oystein and the neighbours are extremely helpful too!
Our stay in Tromso was truly memorable and Oystein's place played a big part in this. It was perfect for our family of 5. It was roomy, the amenities were complete and the kitchen was stocked up with all the necessary condiments for cooking our meals. The owner even had bread ready for us because we arrived on a Sunday and the stores nearby were closed. The heating and the fireplace were perfect for the starting wintry weather. We saw the Northern lights from the front lawn one night and did not have to go chasing it anymore. A husky farm owned by Thomas Jacobsen was not even a kilometer away and so we tried out dogsledding which proved to be one of our most memorable experiences to date. Imagine dogsledding with the Lyngen Alps surrounding us! We will definitely recommend this place.
Øystein was kind and easy to communicate with. The house was so nice and cosy with the woodburning stove and the sauna. It could sleep a lot of people but I had it all to myself and I enjoyed the tranquility of its location in the mountains. I was able to see a hint of the northern lights and I had plenty of space to set up my camera and tripod and get some good pictures!
We enjoyed our stay, but we had some trouble with the electrical; two power outages.

I'm from Norway, work for a high tech company in Norway. Enjoy playing golf all over the world. And, off cause I like Italian wine (Barbaresco is the favorite) and the Italian food. I do ride my bike in the woods around Trondheim.
In winter time I like skiing both cross country and backcountry.
