Eileen is a super nice host that I ever met! We arrived at night, but she welcomed us and served us juice~ And she also give us a lot information about Munich, which really helped!
Eileen always keep sounds down while we stayed there, which makes me feel be respected and very comfortable stayed. The house is cosy, wifi is good, everything is nice!
Totally recommend it!
Elly definitely lives up to the name of a super host!! She was so accommodating and very responsive to our needs and questions. She gave us great tips for the city and her flat was in a fantastic spot in the city, very close to bus lines that got us to the big sightseeing spots :)
We had a great time at Elly’s place. She was a very attentive host and she always tried to lend us a hand whenever possible, both regarding how to move around the city and recommending places to visit. The appartment is quite luminous and spacious, with a refreshing interior courtyard full of plants. The room was big and cosy, but perhaps we missed some space in which we could put our clothes. The bathroom was clean and the kitchen was also good. We could also use all the utensils and kitchen equipment we needed. We also could exchange two very stimulating conversations with her about various topics and she was very kind to us. It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the charming city of Munich.
Would recommend. The room was a little on the smaller side, especially for two people and all of our luggage since there was not a lot of other space to unpack and move about, but it totally worked out. The bed is big and comfy. There is also a loft, but we were just two people, so we didn’t use it. There is also no elevator, but the apartment is only on the second level, so not too bad.
The location was good. Very nice, quiet neighborhood. It was pretty hot that week, so we slept with the window open and it didn’t get too loud in the mornings. It is a comfortable 15 minute walk to Viktualienmarkt/Marienplatz, so we always walked into the city and back at night without a problem. There is also a bus station about a 5 minute walk from the apartment that also takes you anywhere you need to go. And it is about a 5 minute walk in the other direction to the Isar.
Elly was very nice and understanding. It was great talking with her and getting to know her. My brother and I were both born in Munich and have been back a few times, so we knew our way around, but Elly was able to give us tips on what transportation to use and from where when we needed it. This was a great visit! Thanks Elly!
The communication prior to our stay in Ellys apartment was very smooth. She answered all of our questions and reacted very quick. Unfortunately, Elly was not at home when we arrived, but she left the keys in a café at the corner of the street so we could get in. We didn't know on wich floor she lived, that was a little problem. We also didn't know the WiFi password and it was hard to figure out how her coffee machine worked. But those things wouldn't have happened if Elly was at home.
Eventualy, everything worked out well. We had a very nice stay in our well-prepared and clean room at a very nice location.
Elly has been a good host, spending her time having chat with us. And it is not far from the bus station that heads to the city centre too!
Elly is very nice, with her cute daughter and son. Everything is good, 5mins walk to the bus station
