My bright and cozy one bedroom apartment is located in Noe Valley. My location is walking distance from the Mission and Castro. It is located on multiple MUNI lines (both bus and the J train) to take you all over the city.

The Space

The apartment has one bedroom with a queen sized bed, one bathroom, kitchen, and living room; we also have a queen sized air mattress you can use.

There is easy to find street parking nearby.

There is a coin operated washer and dryer located in the building. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and shopping within walking distance. If you hop on the J train, you can be downtown in 15 minutes, where there is even more shopping and sights to see. This location is perfect if you want to stay in a quiet neighborhood, but still have access to all the attractions of San Francisco.

Guest Access

You have full access to our apartment, which includes Wi-Fi, Cable TV, full kitchen and bath.

Interaction with Guests

I will not be in the city during stays but will be available by phone/email in case you have any questions and there will be an in-city contact if needed. I'm also happy to provide any recommendations you need on what to do in San Francisco, where to eat, etc.!

The Neighborhood

My apartment is in Noe Valley, which is centrally located in San Francisco and allows easy access to the rest of the city. I'm just a couple blocks from 24th St., which has tons of fun shops and restaurants. Next door is the Mission, which has some of the best places to eat in San Francisco! Dolores Park is a short walk away and most importantly of all, I'm just a 15 minute walk from the two best ice cream shops in SF - Mitchell's and Bi Rite.

Getting around

My apartment is half a block from the J line muni stop at Church and Clipper. Downtown is just a 15 minute ride away and Dolores Park is just a few stops on the J. I'm also a 15 minute walk from a BART stop, which provides easy access to the airport and the East Bay.

Although parking directly in front of my apartment building is limited to two hours on weekdays, there are plenty of surrounding streets with parking availability throughout the week.

  • Great spot and a good deal in wonderful Noe Valley. Rae's directions were easy to follow and her home was comfortable.

  • What a terrific hideaway smack in the middle of Noe Valley!
I call it a hideaway because it is one of the quietest apartments I have ever rented in SF. For those that don't know about it, Noe Valley is a beautiful, safe, quiet and residential community bordering some of the best neighborhoods in SF. It's the kind of community that you can park your car in at night and not worry too much - and yes, the parking situation couldn't be easier.
The apartments strong point is the view out the living room window. Gazing down on the charming street below and the hills in the background was so relaxing for me.
The apartment itself is clean and very well kept and includes a flat screen TV with premium cable, games, great books, etc.
Additionally, Rae keeps the apartment very well stocked with food, beverages, paper towels and everything else one could possibly need including instructions, pone numbers, you name it. There's even a washer/dryer in the complex and the neighbors (if you even see them) couldn't be nicer.
Rae is highly communicative and organized and is obviously a very responsible individual. Frankly, I'm planning on returning soon so I'm hesitant on leaving such a glowing review - but I've just got to be honest and say "rent this place, you will not be disappointed!" Thank you Rae!

  • Rae has a great place in Noe Valley! Wonderful area of SF to explore, close to lots of fun dining, two minute access to the J Church muni line to downtown and an overall fantastic spot. Coordinating logistics with Rae was super easy and the apartment worked out wonderfully.

I would absolutely recommend Rae to someone who wants to be in Noe Valley, within walking distance to a lot of fun spots, and doesn't want to deal with the typical hotel room for a night.

  • Rae's apartment is really conveniently located and she makes it really easy to get in and out of the place. She also leaves a few sets of keys, which is awesome (sometimes there is only one set and that can be a hassle if/when you have someone you are staying with).
I'm a driver in SF, and I was able to get parking basically right in front every time, a total total plus.
She was also really good at being in communication prior to check-in and check-out, which was great.

  • Rae was a wonderful host! She did a great job of leaving us tips and guidance for the apartment and the neighborhood. The apartment was just as pictured, and the neighborhood was very conveniently located for our purposes. We didn't get to meet Rae, but she was great about being in touch via email and I would definitely airbnb with her again!

  • Great location! Right next to a train stop and a great little cafe right around the corner (Chloe's). We would stay again!

  • We had a great stay at Rae's place! The bedroom was huge and she even gave us air mattress. The sofa was also comfy and there were a lot of fun board games and DVD to watch with huge tv. Communication was fast and problems were solved quickly. The neighborhood was so pretty we took a bunch of pictures. The only thing that is a bit hard is parking, but we found one after 10 minutes of searching. So that was okay. Overall, it was a superb stay! I would recommend it to people. Thanks Rae!

My name is Rae and I am a recruiter at Dropbox. I'm a Minnesota native, but have been living in San Francisco for two years and LOVE the city. I live in Noe Valley, a quiet neighborhood that is right next door to the Mission and Castro. I spend my time drinking wine in Napa, finding new places to eat, biking around the city, and competing in triathlons.
