We stayed for one night at Neahtawanta Inn bed & breakfast. The location is lovely if you're looking for a beautiful, off-the-beaten path getaway. It's fairly far up the peninsula and a good ways outside of Traverse City itself. The private beach is fabulous, and we were the only…

Response from Sally:
I'm glad that Derek brought up that we are a quieter place that doesn't accept pets. My listing describes the inn as a quieter place in 2 different spot on my listing; it also mentions our no pet policy in 2 places. We DO love kids though, and welcome them. It isn't always as quiet as when Derek visited; that was a rare, extra-quiet night. Most guests are happy for a peaceful, quiet get-away. We are 11 miles out from where M-37 and Peninsula Dr. split, at the base of the peninsula. Yes, we're off the beaten path a bit, but there are 5 restaurants in a 5 mile radius of the Inn.
