Trish's place was exactly as advertised. This was my very first AirBNB experience, and I had a very comfortable stay here! Her recommendations for things to do around the island are spot on, and I'm so glad I took her advice. Mahalo, Trish!

Trish's home is everything you need and more, not only is she 100% available to help with any questions or needs she will beat you to it and anticipate your needs as well! The house is fantastic with such a large and relaxing backyard you definitely can spend plenty of time enjoying yourself outside. The house is also a 6 minute, straight shot drive to downtown Kailua-Kona, 5 minutes from Costco and 4 minutes from Safeway & Wal-mart making navigating no challenge at all yet at the house you feel so far from such amenities. If you are considering this spot, look no further and book this before you lose the chance!

This unit is in the perfect location to get the most out of your trip on the Big Island. The host, Trish, is very hospitable and helpful in making your experience phenomenal. She makes your stay feel like your home away from home! Highly recommend!

This was the first place we stayed on The Big Island and it couldn't have been more perfect. The location was great and the place had everything we needed and more. Trish was very friendly and helpful. Reading through the guest book it seems that everyone else has thoroughly enjoyed their stay too. We'd absolutely recommend staying here

Trish's house is extremely beautiful, well maintained and better in person than the photos on here. My wife and I live in city and we can't afford to have our own garden. Trish's garden was our dream come true - it is so serene and beautiful. The house is located in the coffee belt of Kona - so, tons of coffee plantations are just minutes away. It is located minutes away from the beaches but it is in this residential area that many people would prefer and love - keeps us away from all the hustle & bustle of the other tourist crowd. Trish is an excellent host and treats you like an extended family. My wife and I love the big island and we will certainly stay at Trish's again :-)

The place was great! Had all the amenities we needed and was cozy and clean. I really appreciated being able to use the kitchen and do some laundry. Trish was so helpful and welcoming. The garden was lovely and we even got a fresh mango off the tree in the yard! I would recommend renting Trish's Jeep (also a very easy process) or another vehicle since the house is just a quick drive into town but not within walking distance. Even though it's only a few miles, the streets from the house to town are somewhat busy with no sidewalks and only a very narrow shoulder.

We had a great stay with Trish. It was perfect for our couple of nights spent in Kona. The home was clean and Trish gave us many good suggestions during our stay. The backyard area was lovely and the fresh mangos were a great surprise!

Born and raised in the Islands, I lived abroad a good number of years, raised two sons, and am home again in the Islands. I have a deep love and respect for this place and the lahui (people) of Hawaii. I enjoy swimming alongside our ancient and graceful honu (turtle), hiking the waterfalls of Waipio, and never tire of the magic and awe inspiring nature of our volcanoes. Today I'm blessed and thankful to be helping travelers enjoy the wonder of this place too!
